  1. Oh my I have been on the phone 4-5 times with Royal about this. They kept dropping off one of our FCCs. They kept saying it would be fixed. I finally told them it had to be fixed for me to make final payment. They had me pay amount they showed we owed minus the $250 FCC and to call back by 9/24 to check that it was applied??? Today I see on website I owe $0 on that cruise. This should not have been so difficult!

  2. A couple years ago we took a private tour with a driver my sister found on the internet. Unfortunately he was returning to the Netherlands. We did the national park, the flamingoes and two snorkeling spots. I found the one that was an inlet with rock walls on the side but don’t see the turtle one we did. There was a cement walk/dock into the water. It was quite deep. Plenty of turtles and fishermen throwing scraps in. We ate in a restaurant on a hill above there where you ate whatever he had caught that day. We had lion fish. We’d love to be able to do just that spot and then find a beach to relax on for a couple of hours with drinks. Any ideas of where it was?

  3. We are sailing on the Rhapsody on 12/3/16. Our documents say check in is from 5-7 p.m. And we sail at 8 p.m. This is a change from original information. Ship arrives in Miami on 12/2 and then sails to Tampa for our cruise. We are upset we are losing our first day but attempting to stay upbeat. My question is does anyone have experience with this? When will they hold the muster drill? How will dinner be handled?

Going to make the best of this but feel there should be some (good) compensation for technically shortening our cruise. Also, there are going to be alot of angry people at the port early who have no idea (because they haven't read their documents) that this has been changed.

  4. I could not care less about the taxes. I will never leave out of Houston again. We got on the ship and as usual looked for a place to get the drink of the day. NO ONE stated before we got on the ship (or after for that matter) that ALMOST ALL the bars are closed. We finally found the pool bar open but they didn't know what they were doing. Also, Houston only allows them to serve from a very small menu. After a long wait the two Long Islandish Ice Teas we had were so weak they weren't worth the calories. We finally found that the Wheelhouse Bar was serving so we got a glass of wine (thankfully I like Chardonnay because that and Cab Sav. were the only choices) and took them to sit in the Explorer's Lounge. Every other person that passed us asked "Where did you get a drink?" We will be sticking to cruising out of Florida or San Juan. BOO HISS Houston.
