I’m so excited for it all to be released, but hate it that RC leave it so late!

Me too! I'm so ready to book something but waiting to see if there will be a Norweign fjords out of Southampton in May 2019. The only one I've seen that would work for us so far is on the Sapphire Princess but that ship seems to have quite a few mixed reviews.

We have cruised and vacationed many times while our kids were in school. It's a personal choice but we had no 2nd thoughts about them going during school. You only have a limited amount of those young years and memories are more important than anything in this world.

My boys were (23) and are (15) excellent students and usually doubled up on work the week before we went so they were free to enjoy the vacation. I never expected extra pressure to be put on their teacher catching them up as I felt that was my job if I was taking them out of class.

You don't want to wake up one day and wish you would've done this or that when your kids were "kids". Of course you can experience the beauty of a new location at any age but you can only see it through the eyes of your child for a tiny window in your life.

We did this cruise a couple of years ago and while I don't remember exactly when or how much the casino was open I do remember having plenty of time to lose some money there! lol

Have to say the Freedom. Only because we will be on the May 24th sailing ;)

First cruises are awesome! What am I saying.. ALL cruises are awesome!! Have a fantastic vacation! We are still double digits away from our next one but can't wait...woooo hoooooo!!

We booked last night!! I was skeptical when I opened our letter but I had to check it out. Soooo glad I did! We are booked on the May 24th 8-day Southern Caribbean on Freedom for a whopping grand total of ..... drumroll please ....... $637 for 3 in a balcony. We haven't sailed with Carnival since May 2012 and we do our fair share of casino time so maybe a combo of those got us a letter, who knows.. even if Carnival isn't your favorite line you really can't pass on this deal. Super excited and ready for May!!
