Wondering what everyone's thoughts are on the Bottomless Bubbles (Soda/Juice) card on Carnival.
Will be traveling with 2 boys (ages 9 and 4) who love to drink juice and soda.
I am leaning towards purchasing it for them.
How much does a soda/juice cost per glass if purchased on it's own? I will need to do the cost/benefit analysis on it.
From what I understand the card is only on the actual soda/juice and the 15% gratuity will be added to the sail and sign, correct?
Thanks!
Soda is $2.25 a can. I do not know how much they charge for juice. The gratuity is built into the price of the bottomless bubbles. If they drink more than 3 sodas or juice per day it is worth the price. Also for a few extra dollars you can get the insulated mug with a closeable lid.
We always get one so I can mix my rum.:D

When we got home from our cruise and my husband saw the AKR pics he looked up their website and checked prices. He may be tired of cruises but he's always wanted to get scuba certified. I'm not sure if I'm ready for scuba but I sure would love to go to dolphin camp;)
Tell him to go for it. I was close to 40 when I started diving. I loved waking up early at AKR, sitting on the covered back deck of our cabin and watching the sun rise, the night fish leave and the day fish come out. My daughter and I wanted to go there this year but DW has total veto power.:p

AKR is a great dive resort. When our daughter was 10 we stayed there and they have a dolphin camp for kids. What 10 year old girl would not want to play with dolphins all day?
Great review thanks.

On our first cruise the wife bought both the funnel and monkey cups, the monkey was packed but some how it ended up getting broke when they took our luggage off the ship. We have a grand daughter that goes nuts over anything monkey. In fact we gave her the nickname "Monkey" when she first started walking. She kept slinging her arms up in the air like a monkey does when it walks.:D:p

Many states in the south you can not buy beer or wine before 11 or even noon and hard liquor at all on Sundays.

They are not slapping sauce on something and calling it bbq. It refers to the method of cooking on a barbecue grill. No sauce required. No dry rub. No nothing except meat, fish, etc.
Ever hear - "Throw another shrimp on the barbie"?
I cook BBQ for competitions, won many a trophy and have qualified more than once for state and national competitions. The term BBQ has become misconstrued.

That is grilled food and not BBQ. Slapping some sort of sauce on something does not make it BBQ. BBQ has to be cooked low and slow with a paste, rub or marinade and the use of wood for smoke flavor. It is sacrilege to call that stuff BBQ.

I was wondering about this as well. On our cruise in October on the Pride my cousin had her flat iron and curler taken away from her and given back at the end of the trip. It sounds like a hit and miss wether or not you get to keep it with you or not. :(
It all depends on the shape of the item. If it is not in good shape, cords look like they might be fraying then they are most likely taken away. If possible get new ones right before the trip.

I just wish I had hair to curl or straighten.:p
Is Bottomless Bubbles Card Worth the $$?

The card is not just for sodas, it is also for premium juices.
