  1. The VA has a Foreign Medical Program that will pay for overseas treatment of service connected conditions. If you search for Foreign Medical Program, there are fact sheets on the program and claims on the VA website. Their website doesn't mention coverage for non-service connected regardless of the % disability rating. Also, if you are enrolled in Tricare, Tricare will pay for emergency overseas care.

  2. I find it interesting that anyone pays attention to what others are doing if their behavior is not causing a scene, impacting others enjoyment of the cruise, or is blatantly illegal. Whether someone has 4 drinks (which can be a beer with lunch, a pre-dinner cocktail, and 2 glasses of wine with dinner) or 7 drinks, if they behave in an acceptable manner, it is none of yours or my business. I do not judge those who don't drink nor do I draw any inferences from their behavior. Similarly, I don't pay attention to how many people bask for hours in the sun or whether they use SPF 50 or 2 --it is their choice to make.

If you have a value system or beliefs that guide your behavior, I admire and respect that. Please have the same respect for those who may not share the same values or beliefs.

  3. Another big thumbs up for COSOL' s tour. This was our first ever island tour in Dec 2012 and it is the one we measured all the rest against on the cruise. None came close. We were lucky enough to have Cosol as the driver and we had a blast. He is knowledgeable, funny, and passionate about his country. Plus, the breakfast with local foods and the best bread I've had in along time coupled with the "blue bus" we're icing on the cake. When we do our next Southern Caribbean cruise, this will be the first tour I book. And that seems to be the norm because of the 10 of us in the van for the tour, only 4 of us were first timers -- all the rest were repeat business.

  4. Deck - 10

    Cabin # - 1077

    Class – C2

Starboard or Port Side - Port

Bed near?(balcony or bath) – balcony

Quiet Cabin (With comments on problems. Note if connecting. ) – Not connecting, no noise issues at all

Balcony View - cabin is on the backside of the forward bump. As a result, you have a great view out and aft, but not forward. This was not a problem for us. There are no obstructions.

Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - Oversized by about 30-40%. This cabin is adjacent to 1075 which has the huge balcony, but the extra room is nice.

    Was wind a problem? No

If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? N/A

Any specific problems with this cabin? No

Any other comments? Great cabin just off the forward elevators. There was no noise or any other issues. Would definitely book again.
