Hi J. Wow, 10 in your party.....that’s wonderful. I see you have sailed with NCL in that region before.....did you use their air and if so what kind of flights were provided?

This should be a nice new experience for me...although I’ve cruised the Baltic area, Iceland is something new and from the pictures I’ve seen....really beautiful.

As I’m sailing on the Prima in Feb 2023.....I’ll know the ship and can concentrate on the tours and scenery.😉.

Although 2023 seems so far away, as soon as we hit January we can say next year! See you on board.

Hello!  We have never used the  NCL flight service.  I would love to hear your feedback after doing so.  Can’t wait until we get closer to start planning!

  2. We'll be docked in Coco Cay on February 16th and are traveling with a group of about 30 people.  My initial thought is to rent 2 bungalows as sort of gathering place for everyone and then folks can go do their own thing and come and go, using the bungalow(s) as a home base for the day.  Is that allowed?  If not, what is best way for our group to all be able to hang out together?  Thanks in advance.  We've never been there so I'm not sure what to expect.

  3. No, the mini bar is not complimentary in any suites. If you use items from the mini bar you will be charged for them.. Have it emptied so you can use it for other things. The butler will do it for you if you ask.

Also, there is no free laundry. They do run a special during the week for a bag. If your latitude status is Platinum or above they do give you one free bag, but not for suite perks.

    Thank you for the information!

  4. So the mini bar items in your suite are not complimentary? We are sailing on the Spirit (July 2019) in a category SF cabin.

We were in a suite on the Coral Princess last summer and our mini bar was all included and re stocked for us daily.

Those suites also included free laundry at any time. Is this not a perk on NCL?

Thanks. This is our first time on NCL.

  5. Would you consider changing cruiselines? Princess has smoking in the casino and in Churchill's bar. Holland America also does an Iceland itinerary and they allow smoking in the casino, as do most other lines. We love the no smoking policy on Celebrity and we want to keep it that way. Other lines may be a better fit for your group. That being said, this might be a good opportunity for the smokers in your party to throw their cigs away and go clean on Reflection. It is a beautiful ship! Hope you find a solution!

We would definitely consider changing cruise lines, but we can't find an itinerary that matches our wants. Holland and Princess both offer the Iceland itinerary but for 14 days. We would like a 10-12 day itinerary. We are also looking at Silverseas and Crystal. Both of those offer the shorter trip.

The smoking thing is not a deal breaker for anyone. Just a question I needed answered to have all of the information to present to the group.

    Thanks everyone for your replies.

  6. We are looking to book a large family cruise for June 2019 to Ireland and Iceland. A few in our group smoke cigarettes and cigars. From what I’ve read, all of the smoking areas on the Reflection are outside? My research shows a high of 45 degrees which would make it quite cold for being outside to smoke. I’m just wondering if someone can confirm that on that route, there is not an area inside for smokers? Thanks so much!
