I always ask for 2 more pillows for us, but I have 2 pillows on my bed at home, so I am just used to having them there. I am a fussy pillow user, and have not had a problem with their pillows.

The space behind you would be steps.
I like being near elevators...not the laundry. If there is one thing I will avoid, it is the laundry.
Good luck, I would go with the one a little further from steps.

Left=appropriate
Right=inappropriate
Go figure.

My wife and SIL were, they were going as drunken housewives. Apparently, you can not wear the robes in the MDR. I was a bearded lady, they had no problem with that.

I have only been at a big table once, and it was no problem at all for me. Of course, I have never met a stranger, so that makes it a little different.
Also, just because you chose not to meet others does not mean that Carnival needs to change their ways of doing things. I believe the vast majority of cruisers do not have a problem with meeting new people.

Thanks so much for the quick replies.
Any cruise is a good cruise, you get what you get is how I look at it. I am not too concerned over any of the list, but I am glad to hear positives from both of you.

I am almost 2 weeks away!
A few questions:
1. Comedians - Remember the names? Were they funny?
2. How was the food/service?
3. What movie played on the big screen?
4. What movies played on regular t.v.?
5. Anything that stood out? Good or bad.
Thanks for any insight you may bring to this conversation. None of this matters, but it is my list of things I have been wondering while reading reviews of other ships.

Depends on where you are, I guess.
If you are in St.Thomas, not a big deal. St.Maarten? Issues and delays.
From what I have heard, you go to the Consulate and get a temporary, which will take a while, to get you back home.
You can carry copies of the important pages of the passport, if you do not wish to carry it off the ship with you. A lot of people keep a copy in a plastic bag for "just in case".

We almost always book a cruise for November. The first week or so of November is usually the best deal. I have heard that mid-late February has good deals, as well.
If you do book early, get the ES rate. All you have to do is check every once in a while and grab that OBC! You may end up with enough to pay the tips or get an upgrade.

I have seen it on sale and not on sale. I would not be shocked if you do not see it on sale the next time you cruise, but it is very likely.
I, too, enjoy it. I wish I stopped flying to my cruise ports so I could start bringing bottles home again!

Cream of mushroom soup. Carnival has the best homemade cream of mushroom soup. I would eat it everyday.
Yes!!!

I've done stupid and I've done dangerous. I guess I'm lucky I've never done both at the same time.
Well said. I'm on the same boat.

We always pick starboard. We have faced water and ports, but we always pick starboard. I guess, most times, we face the pier. Last year, my daughter and I had a good time watching the folks coming back from the ports. We were in a cove balcony and have a great view of it all. No pier runners...that was a bummer.

The closer you get to the cruise dates, the more people use the Roll Calls. We had a small spike of users on ours about 3 months ago, now we are getting more. By November, you may meet someone doing a B2B.
Also, the number of B2B'ers is small, so its like finding a needle in a stack of needles.
We did a Meet & Greet and had a blast! We made several new friends that my DW and I talk to on FB all the time. We are even meeting up with 3 of the couples for our next cruise in 40-something days. 3 others were booked, but live had them backing out.
Good luck, though. Either way, I bet you have a great cruise.

Great review! Can't wait to read more and more and more!!!

Coki Beach will be packed, for sure. If you can handle the buffet lines on the ship, the island will not be too crowded.

It should be waiting for you in your cabin when you arrive, so look through the papers on the bed or table before tossing them as advertisements. It's a thank you for sailing with us again kind of thing.
Always check papers on your bed, you could be invited to something fun or new or hokey....who knows!

Very nice pics and great review. Going to Grand Turk this November, can't wait to see it for myself.

Eating Indian food now. We were on the Dream last November and ate it almost every day for lunch.

Not if she was sailing in 2012! :p
I clicked on this, saw my picture and thought someone had stolen my photo! lol
I would say things are the same. Like posted earlier, a 1:00 or 1:30 is a good time. Purchase FTTF and you can get there at any time and be in the short line.

We were on the Dream last November and we loved it. I think it was the best looking ship I have been on, yet.
Thanks for the review, glad you gave it another try.

Thanks, we figured it was not anything, but was unsure.
My apologies

I am sooo, sorry. Every time I get ready for a cruise, I post about the single digit dance to get in the mood, and I have forgotten.
So, please join me in my less than a week dance!
Thank you for being so understanding.
