  1. Hello Everyone,

We are a group of 10 who will be staying at a Port Canaveral Hotel on a Friday night.  We will all be arriving at different times and want to meet up for dinner.  Are there any nice restaurants in the area that take reservations?  I'm afraid to just take a chance on getting in somewhere with 10 people on a Friday night.  Thanks for the help.

  2. Hello,

Can anyone tell me how the CruiseTours work?  We are looking at an 11 day cruise tour in Alaska.  Would the hotels, transports and food be included in the price of the trip or would that be completely separate?  We've never done a trip like this before.  We've only done the cruise portion.  Thanks for any info you can give me.

11am, 4pm, 5pm, 8:35pm were showings one day, the next day they were 11am, 1:25pm, 8:10pm. It depends on which movies are playing when you're on board, and their runtime.

Thanks!  That's a big help in my planning

  4. Good afternoon,

Does anyone have any idea of the IMAX schedule on Carnival?  Do they normally show movies in the evenings or during the day?  I'm sure it could be different on different ships.  We will be on the Vista.

    Thanks,

  5. We are going to be in the Haven on Encore in August for an Alaskan Cruise.  Can't wait.  We love the Haven.   I've heard complaints from other parts of the ship that the number of bartenders was cut down.   Were there still 2 in the Haven bar?  Not that we are big drinkers but it was nice to not have to wait too long.

  6. Hello Everyone,

Does anyone have any recommendations for a car service or any transportation service from the Seattle Airport to the Pan Pacific Hotel?  From what I understand, it takes about an hour to get from the airport to the hotel.   I figured I could do an easy taxi ride from the hotel to Pier 66 the next morning since it is fairly close.

Any ideas would be a great help.  We have plenty of time.  Our cruise on NCL is not until August 2023.

    Thank,

    Karen 😀

Do you have the beverage package and when did you book your sailing?   The water promotion was valid for only three months.

Yes, you will be charged for the cans of diet coke in your cabin; however, you can always bring glasses of it back to your cabin.

Yes, we have the beverage package.  We just booked a couple of weeks ago and I did not see anything about the water promotion so I probably missed that.   I thought about asking the bartender for a can of diet coke each night before going to bed so I can drink it in the morning.  That's my coffee since I'm not a coffee drinker.  lol

Another suggestion which applies everywhere not just in the Haven.

When you first  meet  your steward, butler, etc., ask for their card.

Then you won't have to fumble around trying to remember their name when filling out  your post cruise survey.

That's a great idea.  I had not thought of that.

  9. Since we are on the subject of the Haven and things provided.... We are booked in a Haven Courtyard Penthouse suite.  I believe I am going to ask them to remove the items from our cabin that are an additional charge.

We would like to have some Diet Cokes or Diet Pepsis in our fridge and on the counter.  If I am correct, we will be charged for these items.  Is that correct?  Does anyone know how much those would cost us?  I think it would be worth it to me.   Also, do we receive any free cartons of water?

    Thanks,

    Karen

We always do Hero cards which help the crew members in their evaluations and progression in the cruise line. We take the time to do a good recommendation (not just a "good job" card).

I would like to start doing the "Hero" cards.  Where do we get these?  Are they at the main customer service desk or can I get them at the Haven Concierge desk?  We are staying in the Haven for our next cruise.

I just booked Encore for this summer and really struggled over the choice between a forward facing penthouse or the courtyard penthouse with balcony. I am going solo so I finally decided that the smaller room that was inside the complex would be better. Also, it looks like quite a long walk from the front of the ship to the forward elevators, so it seems like the convenience is worth the extra cost and sacrifice in space.

We are booked on the Encore for September.  I'm really looking forward to it.  We reserved the Haven  Courtyard Penthouse Cabin.
