  1. We will be on the Onward in 8026 Club Continent suite for our upcoming trip. It has the tub/shower combo and I’m a bit concerned about it considering that I am not the most agile individual 😳 Does anyone have any pics of that or any other Onward CC with that combo?

    Thank you.

  2. We went with Azamara on this last year and did the back to back starting in Alaska, making it about a month long journey. It was a fantastic trip! Some of the stops did not have amazing features, but we enjoy the small things so just walking around in the port area and seeing what the people were doing and interacting (when possible) with a few people was alway very interesting. I hope you do get to take the trip.

  3. We were trying O for the first time, boarding the Riviera in Miami on January 13 when I looked over and saw the Journey nearby. I was shocked, and dismayed and felt like I was cheating on Azamara. What was I thinking, going on this ship when I could have taken an Azamara voyage?!!!! I quickly realized that the Journey was in port ready to leave to its re-do, so that calmed me down. We did go on to enjoy our 10 day trip, but still came away with a firm belief that Azamara is our very favorite.

  4. To quote Lottie, "Just like Azamara's crew go above and beyond for us.....well, you are the CC Host equivalent of that great attitude! "

I have truly enjoyed what you have this post and on your other amazing one about the redo of the Journey.

In my mind you are an AMAZING volunteer Azamara Rock Star!

    Thank you

  5. So sorry to hear that Captain Jason is leaving us… such a kind man with a wry sense of humor. Very glad we had the pleasure of sailing with him several times, most recently in January, when he showed us some of the true beauty of Antarctica and the Falkland Islands.

  6. Captain Jason is a very kind and professional captain. We have been fortunate to have sailed with him a few times. Perhaps the most memorable was on the April 2012 Titanic Anniversary Cruise.

We are looking forward to sailing with him again in a few weeks through the Antarctic Sea .

  7. We were on that same November West Indies Cruise and, although, I am usually prone to seasickness and motion sickness, I was never even queasy. I did see some barf bags placed in a few stairwells, but happy to say, I never saw anyone sick or evidence that anyone even had been sick. Looking forward to getting back on the Quest January 5th for the Panama Canal.

ALSO gotta say... Captain Jose is a gem!
