  1. Thanks for prompt replies, everybody!

Are you able to specify a time for room service to deliver? For example, "assorted cut-up melon at 4:00pm" or something like that?

Apologies for the ignorance, but I'm guessing there is no all-day pizzeria/grill, and no self-service area in the evenings?

    Is there popcorn?

    Hello A.Emgee,

Greetings! We look forward to welcoming you aboard the m/s Paul Gauguin.

Fresh fruit is available during breakfast and lunch. We also offer it at Le Grill between 2:30-3:45 p.m. when we serve light snacks. Afternoon Tea is from 4:00-5:00 p.m. and offers fresh fruit. There is also a daily bowl of fresh fruit in all staterooms and suites.

Available 24 hours a day is our room service menu which includes fresh fruit, hamburgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, salads, soups, pasta, pizza, beef tenderloin, salmon fillet, appetizers, international cheese plate, frozen yogurt, and ice cream.

In the evenings, we offer three dining venues. Our main dining room is L’Etoile and serves a variety of elegant cuisine. During dinner, you can order off L’Etoile’s menu and have it served in your stateroom or suite if you prefer. In La Veranda, the cuisine of world-renowned Chef Propriétaire of the Michelin-rated Apicius in Paris, if offered. Polynesian specialties are served at Le Grill. Reservations for dinner in La Veranda and Le Grill can be made during breakfast and lunch with the maître d’. Reservations are not required for L’Etoile.

  2. We booked a cruise with a post stay at the IC Moorea beginning 2/5/14. PG bumped us from our first post night at the IC Moorea and said that they would put us up up at the IC Tahiti for the first night and then transfer us to Moorea for the the next two nights. This is unacceptable as we chose Moorea for a reason. We had this booked for a year. And, we had paid for it in full. They said they had sold the entire resort in Moorea out for the first day we had booked and we'd just have to deal with it. We choose Moorea specifically for our OWB experience. We chose post versus pre so we'd be fresh for the three day experience. Their solution for this is to change our post Moorea stay to a pre Moorea stay with an onboard credit of $200 which is 1% of the trip cost. So, we don't get what we booked and paid for in full and they offer us 1% of the cost of the trip. This change occurred after the trip cancellation penalty went into affect and it's unclear if we can get out of this $17,000 we've paid in advance. We went from being so excited to feeling cheated.

    Dear Jloweinmo,

We apologize that your travel plans were impacted by the February 15th buy out in Moorea at the InterContinental Moorea Resort & Spa. As a result of the buy out, we were able to confirm a 3-night pre-cruise package at the resort. However, if you are not satisfied with these arrangements, please contact us directly at 1-800-848-6172, so that we can discuss alternative options with you.

    Kind Regards,

    Paul Gauguin Cruises

  3. Do typhoons such as this one affect sailings to the Cook and Society Islands? I mean rough seas or itinerary deviations.

    Shelley

    Ia Orana Shelley G,

Typhoon Haiyan that impacted the Philippines was far away from the Cook Islands. We are keeping all the people in the Philippines who have been touched by this disaster in our thoughts and prayers.

    Kind Regards,

    Paul Gauguin Cruises

  4. I think i am coming to the party very late, but i also am wondering the cost of email access. Any response to your query? I know the answer might be dated but i might give me a link to follow.
