great pictures Trixie, i know you bumped into my mom ( coney gal) on one of the days, my family had a great time. Bernadette, the special diet consultant was great, my daughter always had a great meal to have in all of the specialty restaurants. I agree with you about the hostess at the Teppananki restaurant, she was not handling the people great. We loved the shows and the music played in the Magnum lounge, plus the long island ice teas were great. Sorry i didn't have a chance to meet you but glad you had a great trip.

I just booked a room for 1 night through AARP/Expedia for the 3 of us (1 kid) and had no trouble. Obviously we won't stay the night but it's worth it for the passes for all of us to Atlantis for the day. Came out to 250.
Was comfort 250 including all fees? when i get final price for family of 4 in August, it comes out to over 500 dollars

Gem Shows
in Norwegian Cruise Line
Posted
Just got off there Gem on saturday and have to disagree about the shows, Having married a theater person, these shows can't be compared to high school production. Most of the dancers could do a show on broadway, the 70's style theme was a fun throwback, the swing show was a nice tribute to the sounds of yesterday. The only one i didn't love was the juggler/comedian, who i had trouble hearing.
Like they say, everyone has their own opinion, so what one likes, the other won't. I did feel the assistant cruise director Zach was not funny, but that is my opinion,
and yes, my son and daughter did say the DJ sucked.
