First time without a TA—If I book directly with Celebrity to get the cabin I want before I lose it, can I transfer to my TA when she can get back to work?

Dear SFO-F/A - We are booked on Infinity in March '17 for same cruise. We are in Cabin 9048 and I am concerned about noise and roof overhang. Can you comment or advise. We still have an option to change to Deck 11 now. Thank you.

Is anyone else confused about the excursions offered in Hellesylt and Geiranger, Norway? They both seem to offer similar excursions--too expensive to do both! The ship does not appear to drop you in Hellesylt and pick you up in Geiranger as some suggest. Would be interested in what others are doing.

We are cruising the Norwegian fjords with Princess in June and are wondering about ship excursions. 1) In Hellesylt we were considering the bus ride to Mt. Dalsnibba with stryn Lake and waterfall view. Looks like we can see the same thing in Geiranger? Private companies? I saw that the ship cruises the Geiranger fjord, so maybe we don't need an expensive excursion in either port. 2) do we need the ship tour in Stavanger or does the ship cruise that fjord as well? 3) can we do Bergen and Flam on our own?

Thank you for responding. We decided to go for the upper deck and see what happens. It was such a small price difference. I will let you know what happens. Happy Cruising!

Winesteven, I hope you don't mind me butting in, but you seem so knowledgeable. And we need some serious help. We are looking at a different cruise, Prague to Paris on the Almadolce. We have a choice of a room under the Sun deck with walking track vs. a room on the middle deck with cabins above us. I would prefer the upper deck, but am worried about people walking and jogging above me. This is our first river cruise and I am pretty anal about noise. I would appreciate any advice you or anyone could give. We need to book on Monday and need to make a decision!!
