In my opinion no, we were there week of July 9th - most I wore was a fleece and rain jacket on the approach to the Hubbard Glacier. If anything I wore my light rain jacket but generally was in short sleeves
also, we did not buy hiking shoes/boots.

We did a backwoods Jeep tour - it was the best excursion of the trip
you drive the Jeep with the tour guide leading and narrating via radio. We drove through Hoonan and went up into the mountains on logging roads and down to a beach
To me it is the equivalent to Labadee in the Caribbean - happy with the experience

On Oasis, lactose free milk was always in the cafe promenade

We had layers with fleeces and the thinsulate water resistant down jackets- I also wore a long underwear silk shirt some days my husband did not- I did buy a hat when it was raining the one day - umbrella was a pain in markets
I packed my boots at the last minute - I wore them many days for warmth and snow

Budapest to Vienna - excellent cities/markets
Last Dec my husband and I went from Neuremberg to Budapest - it was fantastic

Homewood Suites for us as well. Clean, new, and a mile from the port. Wake up and you can see your ship from your room.
agree - stayed there 2 weeks ago - hotel was great including the pool area. Breakfast was not good at all - so the second morning we headed for Cocoa Beach and ate at Simply Delicious - amazing breakfast before boarding the Oasis

I travel monthly for work. I use botttled water for my CPAP when I travel - never had an issue with machine or how I feel. I always have 2 extension cords with me just in case.

We have global entry/pre-check - so I will book either the 11:30 or noon flight - thanks
-
Thanks everyone- very helpful advice

what time is suggested for a flight out of Orlando? We would do self disembarkation and know it is at least 1 hour to the airport from Port Canaveral - was thinking 11:30 or noon for a flight home? Thanks

When we were in Marseilles we did a walking tour of the city. I would not waste time or money on that excusion. Marseille was my least favorite port - I would take the excursion to Aix or stay on the boat and take it as a pool/relaxation day.

Thanks for your help

Does anyone know if there is an option for having laundry done for a fee on this ship? Thank you

thanks everyone - on our last Allure cruise we headed to Central Park and snagged an outside table for lunch at Park Café. Based on what I learned we will probably do the same - we will have my husband's 80 year old mother along this trip and was trying to find an "out of the way" location. I will never go to Windjammer on boarding day again - I can't handle the chaos

Thank you

Is Johnny Rockets open for lunch on boarding day?

A great place to meet is Vintages in Central Park or trellis bar in the middle of the park.

I was not able to book a cabana on line (fields were greyed out) but I called and booked one For our cruise in March. I am not staying in a suite either.

Sorry bad typing on my post
I use distilled water at home but when traveling I use bottled water because it is easier. Never had an issue - have had my CPAP for 15 yrs or so
-
Extension cord length/use does not affect CPAP. I travel a lot for work and always carry extension cords in my bag. You can get distilled water but I just you bottled water when I travel - much easier.

Local currency in Europe - adapt to the culture you are traveling to

I was on this cruise June 7-14. I loved Mallorca and would definitely skip Marseilles. I was disappointed in this town.
