When you say regular drink package, May you please elaborate.  Soda, water, classic, premium, drinks and more?  That can help narrowing down what is included in the package that most interests you.

I am assuming that Classic is the basic. Got the list!

  2. just to let everyone out there with NCL gift cards use them or lose them even though our expiration date was 12/23 when we went to use our 100.00 in gift cards on our 10/19 cruise we were told our balance was 0 came to find out that they charge you 3.00 a month when you don’t use them which I thought was now illegal 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

  3. We just found out the reason our 2 gift cards (Expiration dates of 12/2023) totaling $100 were not accepted on the ship (Escape—-this past week) was because after a certain amount of non use the card loses $3 a month...so even though I have been on 3 NCL cruises in 2.5 years, I didn’t use the cards until this cruise and we have lost $100. Please learn from us.🤯🤯🤯🤯

  4. Thanks for the response! My husband and I love NCL....doing this trip to “veg” on the ship...currently not planning to get off in Bermuda....we never get to fully explore the ships so we thought this would be a fun one!

Took the Getaway 2 years ago around the Baltic with an old HS friend....so big and so port-intensive we didn’t have time to explore the entire ship...

  5. We loved this outing......safe/clean/variety of activities/happy hours.......easy to get to from the ship .....a lovely day.....thank you fellow Cruise Critic members for the information.....would never have done without the suggestions!!!

  6. My husband and I did the Jalousie Beach Break........a guide was waiting outside as promised....short walk to motorboat.......2 ships were in port....no issues....nice fast ride with some sights shown.....got to Jalousie and there were the Pitons!!! So many people complained that night about how long their cabs/taxis took and we were right there within a half-hour......we did get the free lounge chairs....lunch was fine but a special touch was being handed a fresh mango to peel and eat!! Very helpful crew bringing drinks to us in the chairs.....clean restrooms and a little shop......DH went snorkeling....said it was the best of the 2 weeks.....view of Pitons and boat ride there and back was awesome......free area was a little crowded but we had our chairs and a great view........Spencer himself had one of the boats....we had Terry and Sheniqua(sp?) (Spencer'sdaughter) as our main crew....loved the tour, and highly recommend!!

  7. I retired December 2013 with a special retirement offer I could not pass up.....our plan was this month....we are doing a B2B in April to celebrate and 4 days after we return DH will officially retire.....

Agree with others.....I volunteer, have stayed involved with a professional organization....found some Meet-Up groups......and have used the time to reconnect with family and friends.....time is a wonderful gift!!!

  8. We will be on the Jewel in April for 2 weeks.....thanks for this recent peek into the ship! Our last RCCL cruise was in 1998 for our 20th anniversary.....have done Disney/NCL/Carnival --never again/Princess/Viking since then.....am looking forward to this B2B and you have added to our anticipation!! Interesting about the size....sounds like it will be equivalent to the Island Princess we took to Alaska in 2013.....sounds great!!

    Thanks again!
