We are scheduled to cruise to the Southern Caribbean in January. We just learned that most of our ports require us to buy ship's tours in order to get off the ship. These are very expensive tours and we are really not interested in them. Has anyone else experienced this situation?

We are trying to book 3 cabins for a family cruise for June 2019. My travel agent just told us that the rooms have all non refundable deposits. I am very upset with this news and wonder how some of you are reacting. I understand that all the cruise lines are doing this.

Several years ago we were in Bar Harbor and Halifax, where we enjoyed eating lobster rolls. We are going back in September. I can't remember the names of the quaint restaurants we went to. Any suggestions?

We will be doing a self walking tour. However, we want to take a city bus from the cruise ship to City Hall to start our walk. Can we use euros for the city bus?

Do we have to purchase the alcohol package for the entire cruise? Can we buy halfway through instead?
