Hello, we did this in 2014 & found the process quite easy. Idk which dock we were at, but there is a ticket stand towards the far left (while facing the main boukevard) as you depart the terminal. there is a full thread on the X80, do a forum search here & you'll find lots of answers. it's gone up to 4 E & thats roundtrip express to Acropolis. we got first bus & beat tge crowds to Acropolis. IT was so much easier tgan the train whivh is a LONG walk to find. We had no trouble getting the bus back after a visit to Acropolis museum. The stop was just down the block by the Temple of Zeus. The bus is seasonal so check that other thread. Have fun. Sorry about typos; iPad acting up!

Did you get the bus really early in the morning, like 8AM? Because I understand that the queues to buy tickets to Acropolis can be horrendous.

Which beach did you wind up going to ? We will be here on a cruise stop in the beginning of July and would like to relax at a beautiful beach, also!

Having previously been to the port of Katakolon, and having visited Olympia, we are also keen to go to the beach there. We previously went to the beach closest to the port, and its not a nice beach.

This time we are planning to go to Kourouta beach. It is a 20-25 min drive there, and P&O organise excursions there, but £26 per person is still quite a lot to charge for a point A to B ride.

I have been enquiring costs with several of the taxi companies in Katakolon, and the only reasonable one I found was George Taxi Tours. We are looking to share a taxi there and back for the day (July 4th).

I'm a Cruise Critic virgin so forgive me if this is not the right way of doing things.

I will be travelling on the upcoming P&O Oceana cruise departing Malta on the 22nd June for 14 nights, and I am interested in joining an independant shore excursion in Saranda, Albania, on 4th of July.

Albania Express Travel are organising a tour to Butrint, Lekursi Castle, and Blue Eye.

I have contacted them and they have said that there has been no interest for this date thus far.

So I am wondering if anyone would be keen on joining this tour? The total cost is 30 Euros per person for 20+ passengers, but obviously more expensive the lower the number of passengers.

My cabin is 9150. I have gone through this entire thread and cannot find via the plan whether this cabin's view is obstructed by the lifeboats or not, or whether it is a roofless cabin or normal! Please please please can somebody help me?!!!!
