  1. I just returned from my five night Disney cruise and I experienced swelling in my feet. I'm a 24 year old female who is admittedly overweight, but as a teacher I am constantly on my feet at work.and I never experience feet swelling unless I'm cruising. We're about to go on a seven night cruise in February and I am not looking forward to swollen ankles. Any tips or tricks on preventing this?

  2. On the one I did in september, I did get the Princesses as well as Mickey and Pals on the pillow case. I wonder if Peter Pan will be at the See Ya Real Soon party. The farewell ceremony on the Magic was rather different than the one on the Dream, and Peter Pan appeared with Anne Marie. Perhaps this will be true with the Wonder as well? Oh well, the pillowcase will be cute nonetheless. :)

  3. Hi! I have another quick question, lol. I did a pillowcase on the last cruise, and I noticed that it did not have Peter Pan's signature on it. I was wondering if it was possible to request his signature on the pillow case, or if it was just easier to take my pillow case around for the characters? I'm doing another one in April, as the markers I used on the last one were super light coloured and have began to fade :/

  4. Hey y'all! I've been looking around for some new things for my Disney cruise coming up in April and lately I have been absolutely in love with retro vintage style. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for websites with cute vintage swimsuits in plus sizes, or even just cute plus size swimsuits in general. I'm only really looking for swim tops, as I have a pair of black bottoms and pink bottoms. I figured mixing and matching would be wiser than buying whole new swimsuits. Thanks! :D

  5. I only take one medication anyway . This q was really more for my parents. My Mother has several meds she has to take and lugging all of those separate pill bottles can take up quite a bit of space! I figured having only enough for the days well be gone would downsize us significantly. We're over packers anyway. Lol.

  6. Well, mainly it was the uncertainty in the situation. My dad booked the cruise about two weeks out and though it was a surprise for my sister and I (we were told it was a Royal Caribbean cruise), we did not have time to receive luggage tags and we couldn't book any excursions in advance...I just didn't like feeling so unorganized.

  7. Hi! We've sailed out of Canaveral twice and I would definitely check out Country Inn and Suites. We stayed there the first sailing and LOVED it. In their cruise package they provide parking and a shuttle to the port. It's less than a mile from the port and has a view of the ships from certain rooms. We were really pleased with this hotel. In september we stayed at the Raddison. It included cruise parking and as well as shuttle for two to the port. There are four of us and we ended up having to pay ten a person for the shuttle. The hotel wasn't our cup of tea, sadly. It was a last resort as the Country Inn was booked. Hope this helps! Happy Cruising! :D

  8. I'm a TERRIBLE overpacker. My sister and I ended up with one large suitcase, a 31 extendatote, and two small carry on duffels for a four night on the Dream back in the summer. It was MUCH lighter than what we packed for our five night in 2012, but we're trying to downsize even more. My advice would be to pair together an outfit for each day and a dress or dress pant outfit for dinner every night, and you should be good! Happy cruising!

  9. Oh! We're driving, lol. We live in Tennessee and we're actually leaving town on friday, two days before cruise, after work and traveling to Valdosta. We're going to finish the trip on saturday before heading to Miami on Sunday for sail away. We're so used to Port Canaveral, and are really slightly uncomfortable with Miami as a port.

  10. We're leaving out of Miami in April on the Wonder! So far, our best option is to stay in Fort Lauderdale the night before and to drive to the port on sail away day. We've decided to go ahead and just leave our car at the port and pay rather than use a service. Hope this helps a bit!

  11. Hi! My family and I will be going on our third Disney Cruise in April and we were looking at parking options in Miami. We're unfamiliar with the port and have only sailed out of Port Canaveral in the past. We weren't really planning on staying in the area the night before and we're unsure of our parking options. Are there places to park with shuttles to the port or is parking at the port really our only option? Thank you! :)
