  1. Hello. We cruise in 2 weeks. We did a GTY in the suite category. Royal emailed my documents and luggage tags but there is no cabin number on my luggage tags. I did scan my set sail pass and I THINK I know what cabin I'm in but i don't want to write that on my luggage tags just incase it's not accurate. Does this mean that they might change my cabin? I've never done a GTY before so not sure how all this plays out. Just getting a little anxious since my cruise is coming up soon.

    Thanks!

We were in a GTY in Dec.  We booked the cruise 8 days prior to sailing and got our cabin assignment 2 days prior to sailing.  This showed up in the app/website.  I do not remember getting an email.

Thank you! Thats what I wanted to know!

  3. Hi,

I usually pick my cabin but this time we got a great rate for a suite category guarantee. Our cruise is in June. When do I find out what suite/cabin we are getting? Is it when I do check-in, which is in April? Some one told me its when I make my final payment. Is that true? This is a first so not sure how it all works. Thank you!

  4. Hello! We are looking into booking the Majestic Princess for Alaska for 2021. We are interested in the Premium Deluxe Balcony (CAT D4) that are located forward on Deck 9 (dolphin). Can anyone tell me if they are covered or partially covered or not covered at all? I know they are larger balconies that extend farther out so just wondering how covered (or not covered) they are. Also, if anyone has any reviews on these rooms located in that specific part of the ship, that would be wonderful, too. And if anyone has pictures of the balcony, that would be pretty terrific!

    Thank so much!

  5. Hi. My husband and I are thinking about booking a Havana suite on the up coming Panorama in 2020. We noticed that it's really darn close to the night club and where the band stage is. I'm wondering, how much of the band are we going to hear in the cabin at night? Anybody know from experience?

    Thanks so much!

  6. Are the bus stops for the free downtown shuttle the same bus stops for the public bus lines, also?

I believe a taxi to Totem Bight would be approx $30+ one way, plus tip. I just thought I'd save some money. But I'll take a taxi if I have to. I don't mind.

  7. Thank you for that new information. It looks like, though, I can still catch the Silver line going TO Totem Bight in/at Newtown. Is Newtown a road? A store? I can't find it on Google Maps. Heading back we'll just get off in town and browse around.

  8. Thank you for your help. Has been very helpful and I think I"m getting an understanding to the bus schedule. I'm going to look for the stop right across the street rather than catch the one between berths 2 & 3. I guess if I have to, I'll ask someone to point me in the right direction :)

  9. My ship arrives at dock 4 at 630am. Would like to try to take the bus to Totem Bight early before the masses arrive. Can anyone tell me,exactly, where by the docks, do I catch the bus going north to the park? I've been to Ketchikan twice but have never noticed any bus stops (not that I looked for one). Thanks!

  10. Thank you for the heads up. Had no idea. Guess I will just book this excursion thru NCl then and not worry about transportation since it should be provided thru them. Glad I got that all figured out!

    Thanks, again.

  11. I've been to Skagway and I know it's a very small place, easy to walk every where. However, my father in law cannot walk far distances. I'm wondering if there is some kind of shuttle service or "taxi" or something similar that we would be able to take from the pier to Liarsville Salmon Bake. It's been years since I've been to Skagway and I cannot remember if there was any type of service. Any advice on getting him there and back would be greatly appreciated.

Also wondering, where, exactly, is the Liarsville Salmon Bake? Is it in town or outside of town. Just incase my FIL decides he doesn't want to go and my husband and I decide to go ourselves, which way do we walk there?

    Thanks so much!

  12. My father in law has some mobility limitations. He can walk fine, but just in short distances at a time. Is Totem Bight a large park? Are there lots benches or places to sit along the paths of the park? What about the walk from the parking lot to the front entrance? We don't need a wheelchair or a scooter, just so he has a place to rest every few minutes. Thank you so much!
