I have done many cruises but have never been on a Thomson cruise before. I'm going on the "new" TUI Discovery in a couple of weeks and wonder what to expect, mostly I've been on Royal Caribbean.
How is the food? Entertainment? What is good and not as good onboard?
Appreciate your thoughts.

The shuttle to Doctors cave beach takes about 30-40 minutes. Before arrival to the beach all in the van together decide what time to go back. Yeah you can do snorkeling there, the water is clear and amazing. Don't know if there is muck in the water but I've seen many snorkel there.

Sounds fun! Can't wait for the second Harmony launch cruise RCCL have from Barcelona June 5:th when I'll be on for two nights. [emoji41] Hopefully it'll be warm and sunny so that I can try the water slides! Yey. I hope it's okay to drink and slide... [emoji898]

When I was there I took the ferry from the pier close to the ship and went to the beach called Anse Mitan. It was very nice. The ship dock in the town where there is not much to do but walk around.

I was there a couple of years ago, it was okay but not a very beautiful beach. I recommend to go to Doctors cove beach in Montego Bay instead. Absolutely amazing.

It's my favorite beach. Always go there when I'm in Jamaica on a cruise. Beautiful, white sand and clear turquoise water. You'll love it.

I recommend to go to Doctors Cove beach in Montego Bay. It's a really nice beach. You pay a couple of dollars in entrance fee and you can rent sun beds and umbrellas. They have a bar and restaurant with service on the beach. Take a shuttle from inside the port gates. Don't remember the cost, think it is 15USD for a round trip. It's my favorite beach when I go to Falmouth. Falmouth itself is not much fun at all. The closest beaches to Falmouth, that the cruise lines sell, are not beautiful at all.

I was there a few weeks ago and the wifi in the terminal by the shops was open. No password needed and all free.

I'll be on board this cruise with a group of friends. Anyone else going? :) We can't wait! So much fun awaits on this new, amazing ship.

Hi.
I'm going with a friend. It'll be my 16th cruise. You've chosen the best ship for your first cruise. Since it's a stop in Mykonos there will be a few gays on the ship, that's my experience. Also, Celebrity is a cruise line that attracts a lot of gays because of the contemporary style ships. See you in august. :)

What to expect? TUI Discovery
in Marella Cruises (formerly Thomson)

Sounds pretty good. I have been on that ship twice so I know it pretty well. It's gonna be weird to cruise on the same ship but another cruise line. :) I have no expectations at all, I go with an open mind.
