IMO the best thing to do is book the cabin you like whenever and then monitor the price with a price tracker... I use cruise fish ;) Usually you'll get a good price at somo point throughout the year... WOW sale... or just another random sale

i wish i knew... but no idea where that place is

can you post a link for the commercial? it is most likely on youtube

By any chance anyone has a list or menu of the non-alcoholic drinks available?

Disneyworld has free meal package sales promotions where you can eat one lunch and one sit down dinner at the parks or hotels. We were on that promotion when we were there back in 2011. No need to make your own sandwiches if you take advantage of the promos. :p
That's great!! I don't think this promos were available back in 1996, when my parents took my siblings and me there... heck, i don't even remember if they had meal plans... plus usually those promotions are for guest staying onsite... which my parents would never do.... We would stay at a Days Inn or a place such as :P ... but hey... I'm happy you didn't have to take it to that extreme!

As an answer to the OP's question, it makes no difference when you check-in. Normally, if you watch prices from about a week before final payment to about 30 days before sailing you may be able to snag a decent paid upgade.
We have never booked a JS but have had cheap upgrades to a JS on numerous occations.
I normally book an outside (the lowest we are happy to sail in) and upgrade whenever we can. We have been able to pay for an upgrade on about 75% of our cruises.
Pete
I guess that depends on how much u paid for your outside / ocean view balcony cabin because I am 37 days away from my saildate and the JS price is two times what I paid for my cabin. I paid less than what a central park balcony currently costs... which, don't get me wrong, I'm happy for... but I've never even been close to upgrading to a suite. The lowest price shown in *************** in the history of this saildate for JS is still like $800 more than what I paid. :/

Two questions:
Do they always have the mozzarella balls?
Which are the best dressings?

I don't know when they switched it... but I also did the Chef's table as part of a dining package in 2012. That doesn't seem to be the case anymore. The webpage is pretty clear about it not being included and I called and they told me it wasn't included. Therefore, I just booked the chef's table for a separate night and will use my dining package for other restaurants.

I LOVED THE ENCHANTMENT!!! I haven't done the rest on your list but I can vouch for the Enchantment! It felt almost like being on the Adventure or on a larger ship ;)

Thank you so much

Hi everyone,
Can someone point me to a thread with relatively recent MDR Menus? I can only find menus from 2010-2013 (before revitalization) :S... I'd like to know if they still serve the lobster at the MDR and if so, which night? I want to avoid booking a specialty restaurant that night.
Thanks :)

What’s NOT in this report? As I said before, every family does their own thing on cruises so chances are what you want from your cruise won’t be included here. There were some areas we didn’t do on our cruise so if you are reading this for these specific areas, sorry to disappoint you. Maybe just scroll down and look at the pictures. Things not in this report:
1 - Specialty Dining. Ate all our dinners MDR as there are no extra charges there. Did I mention I am cheap?
2 – No drink packages/cupcakes. Did I mention I am cheap?
3 – No 18+ related topics. Since this was a family vacation, we opted out of performance of Chicago as it’s adult theme. Also no info on the solarium as kids under 16 are allowed to go there. This includes the Quest game so if you are looking for that here, you won’t find it.
4 – No exotic shore excursions. Other than the one tour in Cozumel, we didn’t do any other excursions. Didn’t spend any money to swim with “whatever” as those costs extra. Did I mention I am cheap?
5 – No spas or massages. Although in the prior Mariner cruise, there was a complimentary spa treatment from the TA as part of the package and on the exact same cruise, I won a raffle for a second spa treatment at the port talk so we had a back to back spa treatment. But this isn’t for me even if it’s free. It’s like giving a Vegan a free prime rib dinner and can’t figure out why they don’t like it. Too bad I couldn’t sell my spa package on eBay to get 50 cents on the dollar…
As you can see, all on all, a rather mundane family cruise vacation.
OMG This is going to be like going in vacation with my Dad all over again. (My parents are also 2 accountants). We would never have lunch at Disney World because of how expensive the meals were.... They would make sandwiches in the morning and take them with us as our lunch /facepalm...

Is lunch available at Specialty Restaurants every day or just sea days?

Boy, our experience is different! Last February on Allure we booked our snorkeling excursion on-board and it was $15pp higher than booking before the cruise. We had a lot of OBC and wanted to use it for excursions so that's why we waited.
That's my same situation and same ship :/...

Hi all,
Are prices onboard higher than online for the same excursions?

Hey! I did Bamboo Beach Club a year and a half ago and we absolutely loved it. We did not do the falls package add on. The food was wonderful, very ethic and cam out in 6-7 courses. It was perfect to allow you to enjoy the day in the water, but come out when you're hungry. The bus ride was 1.5 hours, so be careful of drinking too much for the ride back ( incident with my brother...). The drinks were constantly flowing and it was a really secluded private island, with wonderful staff. They do Basically a scenic tour with jokes and trivia the entire way to there. I would absolutely recommend it !
That sounds awesome :) Thanks

Hi everyone!
I'm thinking about booking RCI's Bamboo Beach Club and Falls VIP Package for Falmouth but I can't find any reviews on this particular excursion... Has anybody done it? Any thoughts? Good "gourmet" food? lobster? alcohol?

Love the park Cafe, great food there no matter what they serve!
EOS has been my fav ship yet..headed back for my 4th cruise on her in the past year!
Large pool deck space, great cruise director, 2 pools outside, 4 hottubs, huge pool deck bar....its my type of ship and atmosphere.
Sad to hear shes going to Miami next year, although it maybe a good excuse for me to try cruising out of that port for a change!
I'm happy she's coming to Miami ;) She'll be closer to me!

Was on Enchantment of the Seas this past March and the Beef sandwiches were served all 7 days of the cruise not just on day 2.
I want to clarify, I'm talking about the weekend 3-day cruise. I read several times that they did not serve them on the weekend cruises.

Hi guys! I just got off Enchantment of the Seas and wanted to let everyone know: THEY DO SERVE ROAST BEEF SANDWICHES AT PARK CAFE on Day 2 for Lunch! Run there before getting off at Nassau to grab it :)
I loooved this cruise! I didn't think I would like it so much after being on bigger boats, but had an amazing time! I loved this ship!
