My cousin's 50th bday cruise on Oasis in 2012. 9 women 3 men. One of the women was my aunt who turned 83 while we were on the cruise. I never would've thought that I would be cruising with the oldest member of our family but she kept pace with us through all the dinners, nightclubs, excursions & CocoCay. She passed away a month after turning 90 in 2019. So glad we got to go on such a beautiful trip on a beautiful ship with a beautiful lady. Here she is with her 2 granddaughters.

in February, Navigator had 2 ladies date Just - that was the total inventory
Most of the Rolex stores here in Chicago have low inventory too. We have a huge stock because we are a pre-owned dealer and the owners go to the trade shows once a month

My husband and I are in the watch business so for me when I'm on vacation the last thing I want to do is look at watches lol. He on the other hand loves going in the jewelry store onboard to see which pre-owned Rolex watches they have. We're going on Navigator in Sep with our friends and the husband is also in the watch biz so I know where those two will be most of the time lol

I assumed you were just going to answer the Royal Rep questions like you were her?
I should have lol. But she actually got a better discount when she called so it all worked out

you can do it
I tried to do it but they wouldn't let me. She said we could check on my cabin price but not on any other bookings. It all worked out because when my daughter called them after work she saved $190. She paid it off on the spot because she was so happy lol

We just got off of Mariner of the Seas on Saturday morning; 5-night cruise to Labadee & CocoCay. I cannot reply to all of your points, but will tackle a few.
#2 - Refreshment Package.
We had Deluxe Drink Packages and NO ONE told us where or how to get the fancy beverage container for the Freestyle Machines. I did, finally, ask at a quiet bar (that hidden one that is almost impossible to reach on Deck 14), where they scanned my card and handed me an insulated cup. My husband used the Freestyle Machines on Deck 5 (right by Cafe Promenade), regularly. The lines are super crazy, so plan accordingly. I never saw the Freestyle Machines on Deck 11, so no idea of the lines there.
#5 - Mariner Cabins
We had a total of 5 cabins in our group - 3 balcony cabins, 1 handicap balcony cabin and 1 inside cabin. I thought they were all in good shape. They were exactly what I would expect on a cruise ship, so I really don't understand why people complain. Cabins are supposed to be small, have limited storage and limited outlets. It's a cruise ship, not a brand-new luxury hotel.
However, all of the beds were HARD. If we had known, we might have picked up an inexpensive eggcrate mattress topper to put in the handicap cabin for my 84 year old parents, and just trashed it afterward. But, the rocking of the ship and the daytime sun made everyone so tired that we still slept with no problems.
#6 Shore Excursions
We were able to see and book things prior to final payment. If you watch some of the CC threads, you will notice that the excursions are populated in bits & pieces and there is no rhyme or reason to when they populate for the passengers to view.
#7 CocoCay
Five of the eleven of us did purchase Thrill Waterpark tickets and really enjoyed it. However, once that second ship (Symphony) got clearance to unload their passengers, we were told that the waterpark was packed and the wait times for slides were about an hour. The other six of us hung out in a Cabana at Chill Island. There are tons of free chairs with umbrellas ALL over the island. Search for a map of CocoCay and you will get an idea, so you can plan accordingly.
Happy cruising!
What is the hidden bar called on Deck 14?

My daughter's cabin category is $83 less today. Can I call in and get it repriced for her while she's at work or does she have to do it? Our bookings are linked and I have her reservation number.

My nephew and his wife (37-38 years old) just went on a Virgin Voyage cruise and can't stop raving about it. They don't have kids so they weren't exactly escaping anything lol but they said it was amazing. Now my husband wants us to try it lol

@Kmkubthey are a lot more bars than those listed. We went everywhere that served drinks lol. I think we used this guide

I hope my Sept cruise on Navigator has a really big supply of Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc lol
-
You're right I wasn't counting correctly. More proof that I need to be on a ship and not sitting here at my desk lol

Since they are of legal age and alcohol was mentioned I'll share what we did with our group on Oasis. We printed out a list of all the bars onboard and had a Pub Crawl. The rules were only that you had to have 1 drink at each bar and check it off the list. No prizes or anything just seeing who could do them all in 7 days. Well 6 considering you can't really get a drink the day you disembark. It was so funny seeing the other couples we were cruising with popping into the different bars as we were leaving them lol. I think it was something like 32 bars on Oasis. Might not be for everyone but the challenge was interesting lol

Going on Allure next Sunday and haven’t been on her since 2014. My husband would like to know if he can get a roast beef sandwich at Park Cafe. Does anyone know? He loves them! Thank you!

In Chicago it has been the 2nd coldest April in 145 years of keeping track of weather!
Yes and I'm sick of it!! Plus I work downtown so it's even colder lol

Has anyone stayed at the Country Inn & Suites in Galveston Beach? Thoughts?

Thanx everyone!

Thank you for your help. Our friends who live in FL will be meeting us with a car so we will ask them to take us to 17th St. I'm just excited to be so near to the port!
-
I'm not familiar with the area near the Crowne Plaza on 24th St. and we will be staying there this Sat night before our Freedom cruise. What is there to eat around there and are there any stores nearby in case we need something? Thanx for your help!

Is NOW open for the taking lol
