  1. I have been doing some Princess wine price comparisons.

Emmolo Savignon Blanc $68.00 ship, $23.99 Total wines

Markham Merlot $78.00 ship and $27.99 Total wines.

Miraval 'Cotes de Provence' Rose $74.00 ship vs 19.99 Total wines
Ouverture by Opus one $580 on board and $149 at Total wine

Even with the $20.00 corkage fee it seems cheaper to bring your own aboard with those markups.  Less the two bottles for in room consumption.  I am not a huge wine drinker but.....

It's obvious that most people prefer to eat by themselves by the number of tables for 2.

I still can't grasp the attraction of eating at one of the larger tables, unless it's with a family.

It’s always been fun meeting people at supper, chatting and comparing notes.  I do miss the old traditional dining though where you got the same table mates and waiters each night.

This venue is definitely elite-only. It’s a small space and seems like an afterthought for where to hold this. Since it’s basically a public thoroughfare to/from The Dome, there’s staff to keep the unwashed masses (kidding!) away from the Elite food.

Do you mind asking them if there is a Platinum venue at some point ?  That would be another erosion of benifits if not.

The public washrooms are really nice. Took me a minute to figure out how to get soap. You wave on the right side of the tap. Air blowers are on the left, but since I find they tend to blow the water in the sink onto your shirt, thankfully there are still paper towels.

If you wave your hands on both sides at once does it blow bubbles ? 🙂

One group of employees, who have gone above and beyond in their job, to protect the corporation form any passenger lawsuits is the Legal Department.  This morning I turned on the television and clicked on the WEATHER icon.  At first I couldn’t stop laughing, but then I realized how sad it has become…when it is  necessary to say “WEATHER IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE”.

Then I decided to pull up the map to see where the ship is currently located.  After clicking the map icon this is what appears on the screen (every time).  This lengthly disclaimer advising the passenger that Princess isn’t liable for anything on the map they are about to see, or the location of the ship.

I’m surprised they don’t have signs posted in all the dining venues, warning that hot beverages are dangerous, and can cause severe burns…drink at your own peril!  😫

Check the buffet, the egg dishes will have a disclaimer saying they contain eggs.  It was there on our Christmas cruise every morning
