We ship our luggage to Europe every summer and we use Luggage Free. We are leaving for Hong Kong in about an hour, and our luggage is there, in the hotel, waiting for us thanks to Luggage Free. We had problems with another company about 8 years ago, switched to Luggage Free and never looked back.

Thank you, Jancruz1.

Thank you Jancruz1, We board the Riviera on June 16th.

We will be on the Riviera in mid June and would love to see him again.

Does anyone know which ship Churchill will be on this summer.

We have used Luggage Free many times and they have been terrific. We ship our luggage to Europe each summer and to Hong Kong every fall and we have never had a problem with them, as we have had with other companies.

Lets just wait and see how it functions

Caroldoll, If you find a food walking tour, please post about it, we would be very interested.

We are booked on the Riviera next August, and have an overnight in Livorno.
We have been to Florence, Lucca and Pisa many times and the heat in August in Tuscany is over the top.
We will spend the first day in Forte dei Marmi, it is about 45 minutes from the port. The beaches are wonderful with private clubs that have day passes and great restaurants, and the shopping area is beautiful. We hope to have dinner on the beach and then return to the ship.
The second day I think we will just spend a few hours exploring Livorno. We have been to the port many times but have never been into the city. We have always been on private tours up to Tuscany, and have never seen Livorno.

Luggage Free asks that you do NOT use any locks on your luggage if shipping international. TSA locks are fine for domestic travel.
We have shipped many times internationaly with no locks and have been fine using Luggage Free, not so with another well known company. Be careful who you ship with! The most expensive is not always the safest.

I just called Luggage Free to double check on our Hong Kong pickup and also asked about China. They do ship there I was told, it just takes longer to go through customs. I was told it can take up to 3 weeks.
-
We just returned from Rome and used Luggage Free both ways and did not have any problems. We have been using them for about 10 years. I just booked them yesterday for a pickup to Hong Kong and back. I would call and check again about service to China.

Ultra is only held in Bayfront Park. You should not have any problems.

Thanking you so much for letting us know where he is, we will miss him this year.

We are sailing on the Riviera in June, and would love to see Churchill again. Does anyone know what ship he is now on?

We have used luggage free to Asia and Europe for the past 8 years and they are great. Never a problem, the luggage arrives on time and they track it from the time it leaves you until it reaches its destination and continually notify you of its location.
We did have a problem, with one of their competitors, as far as missing items from the luggage. Two thirds of my clothing was gone......This was about 10 years ago and the shipment was the US to Hong Kong. We then started using Luggage Free and never looked back. We use them for all of our trips out of the country, and feel it well worth the price not have to lug bags around.

Speaking of butlers, does anyone know what ship Churchill is on now. We will be on the Riviera this summer and would love to see him again.

We have stayed in 12015 a few times and have no noise. We love the OC suites on 12.

TC Dining in a Specialty Restaurant every night is certainly a perk or priority that most passengers do not receive. We get two reservations in each restaurant and we sail in a large suite so you certainly got perks that most or all don't, and we have been sailing the large ships for 6 years.. And that is not elitist in your mind.

TC, We are former Regent customers, and left when the tours became included. We sailed in named suites then, as we do now on Oceania and love Oceania. I believe if you pay more you should get more, but it doesn't have to be in everyones face. It is the same thing as flying business class, they board earlier than coach.
Mariners, I read yesterday that those in the top suites on Crystal are given gold cards when their id is checked upon entering the cruise terminal and they are first to be escorted on to the ship. Only repeating what I read yesterday.
-
And i'm right there with you both.
As an aside I just read on a Crystal thread that they now have priority boarding.
-
Yes, you will all board together. We have done this with our children and grandchildren. We had two Oceania suites and two B1 suites and we all boarded at 11:00.

We stayed in 12007 in 2015 and it was fine, just like all the other Oceania Suites on deck 12. It is very quiet and we feel private on this deck. We use the suites'out side deck a lot and love the nice peaceful feeling. You will not see a lot of people walking in the hallway because there are no laundry facilities or reason for anyone not staying on this deck to walk around. I also think the glass entry doors help to keep people out.

Luggage Free allows air tags. We used them in June and it was very reassuring to know where are were at any given moment. We shipped our bags to the hotel in Rome.
