Thank you. I did that before I posted. I guess I was wondering if the balconies looked directly out to water or are like some of the balconies  over looking lower deck balconies like on Carnival Mardi Gras. When we sailed on MG there was no way of knowing this by looking at the deck plans and we didn’t like how we were looking directly over the water. 

I’m booking my first MSC cruise on Meraviglia Deck 12 Balcony. Im not sure whether to choose a room in the “bump out” sections? Do they look down over lower decks or lifeboats or directly out to water? Do the balconies NOT in the bump out areas look over lifeboats or directly to the water?

Has anyone stayed in this room or close to it? It looks like it is above the theatre and I’m wondering what the noise level is? Booked Alaska July 10 sailing and guaranteed balcony was only category available and we just got our room assignment tonight. 

We did end up booking zip lining in St Kitts through Carnival. Where did you have the pic taken with the monkeys? Is it by the port?

This will be first time taking 3 of my 5 "kids" on a cruise. they are 23, 16 and 13. We are sailing Carnival Magic 8/5/2017 and they really want to zip line in the rain forest. I know San Juan has El Yunque rain forest but we are in port 1:00pm-8:00pm. Our other ports are Grand Turk, St Maarten and St. Kitts. I am disappointed that we are in San Juan in afternoon/evening as they have some great zip line tours but we wont be able to book them as they are scheduled in morning. Do any of the other ports have great zip lines in rain forest type environment?

My husband and I are looking to join a group tour from Montego Bay Jan 24, 2016 to Blue Hole. It is just the 2 of us and prices are very high for just us. Any groups going that we cab tag along with? The more people you have the less the price is per person. We are nice people, Lol. We are on Carnival Magic

Is the name of the company Tour Jamaica? Or Jamaica tours? I can't find Tour Jamaica?

resurrecting this thread, do you think if we are in porthole cabin on Empress level the sound from the anchor won't be as loud? We were in M10 on Fascination and the first time I heard it, I was terrified. Lol

We might be booking a port hole, Empress level on Paradise. We have stayed in port hole cabin, Main level on Fascination before. Will we hear the anchor as much on the Empress level as we did on Main?

 

I have put you on my schedule. We are on a beach in Mayport. The ship usually gets to our spot between 5:20 and 5:40 p.m. The best place is starboard (right side of the ship) and aft (in the back by the waterworks). See the picture below
