was bidding $105 on 4* hotel and offer was declined. Next bid was $100 on 3 1/2* hotel in San Juan. Won 3 1/2* Vendanza Hotel

Just got five rooms for 11/12/11 at the Intercontinental for $118 plus taxes/fees through Hotwire.

What are Intercontinental characterisitcs on hotwire?

For 12/17 Hotwire has:

4* w/resort, beachfront, casino, pools, restaurant for $121+tx

Haven't stayed in San Juan for a long time. Trying to book a nice hotel Intercontinental, or something similar for 1 night on 12/17.

Seems that San Juan has only one area. Right? Just wanted to make sure that we won't end up in some neghborhood far from the port.

Also, what start level should I bid on? 3 1/2, 4*?
