  1. I have 2 cruises booked on RC in Nov 2021 and Feb 2022 out of Tampa with Cozumel being the only port of call. We love Cozumel and were looking forward to our 17th and 18th visits to Panchos Backyard.  Both ports have been changed to Costa Maya due to “itinerary planning”.  Is there something going on with Cozumel???!!!

  2. My understanding is that while Grand Turk is open....it is open to only one ship at a time. They are not ready for a full schedule of ships. I am on the 11/15/17 cruise and while I was looking forward to going to Jacks Shack I understand how important it is that the island get everything back in order before turning loose 4 or 5 ships full of people who will then have nothing to do. I am sure if they were able to accommodate more ships they would welcome the revenue.

  3. *The Princess Luxury Bed is now available on board Ruby Princess, Emerald Princess, Coral Princess, Sun Princess, Grand Princess, Caribbean Princess, Majestic Princess and Pacific Princess and will debut on board Golden Princess (Oct 2017), Sea Princess (Nov 2017), Star Princess & Island Princess (Dec 2017), Sapphire Princess (Mar 2018), Crown Princess (Apr 2018) and Diamond Princess (Aug 2018), followed by Royal Princess & Regal Princess in 2019. Please note this schedule is subject to change.

Above true except the Luxury Bed is now available on Regal if you are in a suite or club-class mini suite.

  4. We are going to fly in two days before our cruise, but we don't want to rent a car. What area should we stay in for easy walks to restaurants etc? Or is there a hotel that is a destination itself?

Yes there are restaurants within walking distance from the hotels at the port and also the Aquarium which is beautiful. However, I would NOT recommend walking around at night or going to Ybor at night.

  5. Have never moved a booking. Is there a time limit when you can move your booking with Princess to a TA? I read somewhere recently that you only had 2 weeks from time of booking to move to TA but I have also seen you could move it up to a short period of time before final payment. Confused???

  6. Hi and welcome. While you don't have to have a passport at this time, you are taking a risk. If something happens while on your cruise (illness of someone back home or ANY reason you may have to fly back for) you will not be able to get back into the states as you are required to have a passport to enter. It's really up to you and what you feel comfortable with. I have had one since my first cruise 7 years ago just because of visting other countries you never know what could happen. I hope you and your hubby enjoy your cruise!

  8. Wow! You guys are great! We (10 ladies) have booked 2 penthouse suites on the Inspiration for May for a 4 day pre-wedding cruise. Yes I know, 5 women in 1 room sounds scary ! LOL. But we don't plan to spend alot of time there anyway. Thanks so much for the balcony photos - I was wondering if we would all fit on the balcony and it looks great. Its a shame we can't open the dividers as we booked cabins next to each other. We will be sure to take lots of photos to share. (Well, those that aren't incriminating anyway).

  9. There are 3 hotels right at the port. Marriott Waterside, Wyndham Harbor and the new Embassy Suites (I think its open). They are not moderately priced. There are other hotels downtown, close by such as Hyatt, Residence Inn, Courtyard Marriott....again not moderately priced. If you are looking for that kind of hotel you can look in Brandon, FL zip code 33511. They have all kinds of hotels there, LaQuinta, Red Roof, Baymont, Country Inn & Suites, Best Western etc. It is a 7 minute ride across the Crosstown Expressway to the port. I'm not sure about the port shuttle but you can call and ask. Good Luck.
