Thank you for taking so much of your time to answer everyone's questions.

We will be in Copenhagen in a couple of weeks and one of the days we will be there is Friday May 1st. We were planning to take a tour of the museums and Palaces and other such atttractions - but now that we realize it is a National Holiday will everything be closed ?? Are stores and shops also closed??

Have enjoyed reading your very many tips and good advice. Now I too have a few brief questions. I read that last May (2014) it took hours for taxis and busses to leave the new ( Oceankaj) pier due to construction and that it was down to a single lane .....is it any better now?? Will it be done before the Spring of 2015?

One more question please ..... Is there a shuttle or bus that can take me from the Phoenix Hotel to Pier 330 Oceankaj??? Or can I only take a taxi?

Apparently you've been giving people great walking tour maps and ideas, photos, etc. of Talinn for a few years now ..... I'm coming in late on learning of you and your information but would you PLEASE send me your walking tour etc.? I tried to open the website you referred others to back in 2009 but it would not open. We've signed on for a Holland America Baltic cruise where they have a promotion that includes dinner in one of their specialty restaurants.

When I called Holland America to book us into one of these restaurants I was told that I could not do so. Paying people could but not those taking advantage of this "Special" offer. We have to wait until we on board the ship and then we will receive a notification of a pre-arranged day and time for us to use the Pinnacle Restaurant. SO THEY WILL TELL US WHEN TO EAT AND WHAT DAY TO EAT. We wanted to dine in this restaurant on a sea day because we knew that on other days we might not make it back in time for dinner due to full day tours - but obviously H.A. wants to keep the sea days open for paying customers not people taking advantage of H.A.'s lame offer. Just once I would like to see a special offer that didn't come with conditions, limitations and other garbage details that reduce it to anything but a special offer. I thought HA was better than this. A special offer is NOT special if you include restrictions ...... it just becomes a garbage offer.
