When I was on Freedom in May Royal had provided a 2 oz bottle of hand sanitizer in the cabin. Wondering if still doing? have cruise Dec 5 and deciding on how much to pack. thanks!

We were on Symphony for two weeks beginning October 22 (in two different staterooms) and then on Oasis for a third week.  We received one bottle on Oasis but none on Symphony.  Bring a small bottle.  It won't take up much room.

  2. I have never had to park a car when we have cruised out of Miami but will need to for two weeks October 22.  I see Royal Caribbean has the lot for Oasis class ships for about $25-$28 per day.  I have seen others in doing searches for $9.95 per day.  I also have to find a hotel for the night before our cruise.  We had planned to leave early the morning of our cruise from our condo in Fort Myers Beach but due to the hurricane we cannot stay at our home for what could be months.  Any help will be much appreciated as we try to navigate everything going on with being displaced from our home.

I would enclose your hanging items in a light weight garment carrier.

Whilst changing cabins is not difficult and many will describe it as an “easy” process, my personal experience was that I “lost” three hanging items during the transfer. Therefore, IF I had to change cabins again I would enclose the items so they cannot accidentally fall off the transfer cart and disappear. We have done several B2B but I try to book the same cabin now for both legs although I realize that  isn’t always possible.

Did you have to exit the ship?  We are unable to stay in our home on Fort Myers Beach so I added another week to our cruise so we would have a place to stay until we get power and water after the hurricane.

  4. We are scheduled for the October 22 sailing on Symphony of the Seas.  I booked another week on the same ship for the following week.  I have only done one other back to back cruise.  We did not have to get off the ship the last time.  I inquired if we would be able to stay on the ship like we did the last time and the gal told me that since Covid things may have changed.  Because we booked so close to sailing we have to move cabins for the second week.  Can anyone help me understand what to expect with our bags and if we need to leave the ship and re-board?  Thank you

  5. Our last few cruises we have bought a 5 night specialty restaurant package and the BOGO package so we could dine in the restaurants each night and get it at a discounted price.  I have only seen a 3 night package now which is only $15 less than what we paid for the 5 night dining package last December.  Our cruise is still 115 days out so I wonder if anyone who has a cruise coming up has the option of a 5 night dining package or the BOGO package.  I am wondering if they add more packages once the cruise gets closer or if they have done away with the 5 night package.  Thanks in advance!

  6. My daughter, son in law and their two daughters are leaving on Oasis of the Seas tomorrow.  They received an email that they will have later boarding due to the ship needing an extensive cleaning.  I can't find anything on the boards.  If anyone is on the ship or has a link so I can give them more info please let me know.  Thank you!

  7. My daughter and her husband are going on the Oasis in July with another couple. The other couple has never cruised and paid for the cruise in full when they booked it. Final payment is due May 9th. The price for their cabin has dropped $150 and there is also a $200 onboard credit available with this WOW sale.

They were told they can't take advantage of the price drops because it is paid in full. I don't believe this. If this is true I suggested they cancel and rebook and only pay their deposit in case the price drops again. Were they given wrong information or is this the policy?

  8. Just off the Harmony this morning. We did the 5 night package. We really enjoyed 150 Central Park and ate there twice. We enjoyed a night at Jamie Oliver's Italian and Chops. We ate at Wonderland but it wasn't a good of an experience. I think it could have been our waiter. I highly recommend the 18 oz Filet for two at 150 Central Park.

We did not have any trouble booking the restaurants. As long as the computers cooperate they are able to make bookings from one location. I went right after we had lunch at Park Cafe after we boarded around 11 am.

  9. Leaving on Harmony of the Seas on Saturday and I am reading that the check in process has changed. It states that our seapass cards will be outside of our stateroom in a sealed envelope. We have 10:30 am boarding and I am wondering if they will let you go to your cabin to get your seapass before the usual 1 pm when they say the cabins are available. If not, how would we purchase our celebratory cocktails when we board?

  10. We are doing a B2B and wondered if they deliver any alcohol, bought either ashore or in shops on board, to you cabin after the end of first cruise. This would mean you have it in your cabin for the next leg of your cruise. I cannot see us being so lucky

We did a back to back on the Majesty in December. I purchased 4 bottles of Grey Goose on a night they offered an extra discount. The last night of the cruise I simply went back to the store I purchased it at onboard and they had it ready for me to take back to my room. We put it in the closet and I used a bottle for my drinks the second half of our back to back with no problems. :D

  11. UPDATE: We were only allowed two bottles of wine. They said we could ask for it the last day of the first cruise. No big deal but I hope our nice bottles of wine make it back into our hands at some point.

We also managed to be the first ones on the ship. Have a Merry Christmas all!
