  1. Well idk, I was on the end of March of 2014 and they had the women wearing barely anything, even another poster on here mentioned that the Epic show is a lot more sexual, I'm not complaining it was fun just not for kids. Expecially the opening trick where the girl wearing barely anything sat on the edge of a big wine glass and bent backwards with her legs wide open and it only got more wild from there.

I believe they may have changed stuff as this was not part of our show :)

  2. I'll try and post some thoughts tomorrow! I believe the disembark began at 6:30am, they asked everyone to be off by 9am. They have it arranged by colored tags, however if you walk off with your luggage on your own you can go whenever you want. Very easy, took an extremely short time out of Rome!

  3. We just got back from our cruise last week and went to Cirque with our 1 year old. I admit I was worried how she'd be or how to make a quit exit if she fussed, but I worried over nothing. Granted every child is different, but our daughter LOVED the show. She sat in her high chair (we were up top) and leaned down to rest her head on the table to look underneath at the show the ENTIRE time. She clapped along with everyone else and only looked up to grab some food then went right back to looking at the show. The only thing I'd say was even remotely sexual was the guy in the tub toward the end.

  4. What time does your itinerary say you'll be at Port for Cannes? For me it's 8a-6p, but I believe for your cruise it's 7a-5p. I wonder if for some reason that's why it's not showing up on mine. Just logged in to confirm and none of the Monaco/Monte Carlo excursions are showing up.

We are there 7a-5p. It was changed from 8a-6p when it was originally offered. Hopefully they'll add it back up before your trip!

  5. I know a little over a month ago, NCL took away all the Cannes excursions that included Monte Carlo/Monaco. When I called they said this was a schedule issue, and that my excursion was still listed as paid for and occurring, and that they simply removed it from being purchased at this time. When I look at my vacation summary it shows that I have an excursion purchased, but since that one is the Monaco/Monte Carlo excursion, clicking on the Cannes day itinerary comes up blank.

Someone on here posted that the 'real' reason it was removed was due to an engine issue on the Epic, and that should be fixed during it's dry dock. However my cruise is Nov. 4th, after the dry dock, and so I'm a little nervous as to what will happen. If my excursion really does end up being cancelled, what are the chances that NCL contacts me to let me know in time to book an alternate excursion? If they don't alert me until I'm on the ship would that money become OBC or would they just refund my CC?

    Thanks!

I am on the Aug 9/12 sailing and was concerned when this happened to me as well. However they worked out the times with the vendors and added it back a couple days after it was taken off so it is available. You should be able to see it when you log on under the excursions. So happy they got it back as thos was our #1 excursion we wanted to do!!

  6. We are on the Epic 7-day Mediterranean round trip from Rome in August. There are only 4 excursions listed in Barcelona, yet we are docked from 5am-7pm. I know its also when folks will embark and disembark but surely there has to be more to do than the 4 excursions listed as we are there so long. Does anyone have any suggestions on places to see, excursions to do?

Some background info - its a group of 7 of us, 4 in our 20-30's, parents in their 50's and our 1 year old daughter (who will go along with whatever we do). We aren't necessarily museum people but would love to see castles, cathedrals, etc. We'd also love to try the local food. Never been to Barcelona, or anywhere in Europe for that matter.

    Thanks!

  7. Excursions for Palma have reappeared today on MyNCL. There are only 4 left, and all of them have a duration of 4 hours. Those that had a longer duration are definitely gone.

I had booked and paid for the aquarium excursion in june, and it's now gone. Will NCL reimburse me automatically or do I have to call them to get my money back?

My research also indicates that everything is closed in Palma between 2pm and 5pm, because of siesta. No time for shopping and tapas :(

Thats a bummer about the aquarium, I was interested in that one since we have an infant and she'd like it. I assume they'll reimburse you automatically but you can always call to confirm, its been very easy to reach them every time I've called in the past few days. They may be still trying to add it and change the time as they did with the others.

Thats a big bummer about siesta hours. Maybe they change it when ships are in dock?

  8. I called and they said that I should call back in about a week to 10 days as they are currently working on the issue of shore excursions for those ports in question. Also said they would send an email if it is cancelled. Which at that point I brought up that I never received notification of port time changes in the first place. I voiced my concern that I wouldn't know there was an issue if I hadn't been contacted by a shipmate. He didn't know if my Monaco tour was cancelled yet. Said they wouldn't know if it was cancelled for a week or so. So...still don't know if my tour is a go or not, I have to hope they send me an email, and I have to periodically call them to find out their progress. They did say I would get a refund if it is cancelled. Guess we will have to just wait and see what happens. Thankfully not sailing for awhile so hopefully will all be worked out before we depart.

When is your cruise? Since they are just moving things up an hour and not losing an hour I dont see why the tour operators cant change the schedule a bit. Would love to hear if you hear back from them in a week or so because if its not canceled and they offer it again Im definitely going to cancel the Monaco & views of Eze and go with the Monaco & Monte Carlo we originally wanted. That one is showing up as a paid excursion on myncl but doesnt list any actual details under the day. I wonder if its the same situation even though they were able to book it for me today.

  9. I just looked at excursions for Cannes as that is the only ship tour I have scheduled and didn't see it either. I have paid for the Monaco/Monte Carlo trip and Never received the email. I am going to call as wondering if they will credit me back before we go or give us on ship credit. Not happy that they have not contacted me. If it wasn't for this board I wouldn't have known.

This was the one I wanted to book (and I only found out about the changes from this board too!) They said last week it was available when I called to inquire about it not being online anymore. I called this afternoon to book and he said it was no longer available due to the dock time changes :( Definitely call! When I booked another Monaco tour today he said we can cancel or make changes up to 48 hours prior to embarkation without penalty so there's not reason why they wouldn't refund you on one that was canceled.
