Very interested to hear more especially do's and don'ts.  We will be  boarding in just under 3 weeks (3 generation family of 10) so all hints and tips appreciated such as % formal (TA's are usually more than normal as will probably be Christmas). Thanks for taking the time and hope the cruise blue's are over. 

10 of us ranging from 16 to 68 will be on Rhapsody over Christmas.  Any ideas on possible theme nights would be appreciated since the 3 youngest would love to dress up.

OMG!  We made an unscheduled stop in Halifax in October of 2007 as we ran from a hurricane.  The people were unbelievably generous in hosting us until we were able to leave port the following day.  Prayers that recovery is quick for this and all locations that felt the wrath of Dorian. 

And they are not alone!  Safe travels to all who will be heading out to sea today!  

Under the best conditions it is 45 minutes from the port to MCO.  If I had private transportation arranged in advance, I would take the flight. 

As luck would have it, the time to get away from work and the NCL Jewel from Vancouver to LA are the best fit. As it is, we are guaranteed on the ship but have no idea where we will end up which is fine with us as long as we can turn off the electronic tethers. Any hints or tips appreciated.

From the experts what does NCL do best? What is not to be missed? What should we take a pass on?

BTW, I am so glad to hear from all of you but especially DonnaW. I send them emails but never hear a thing back. I was beginning to think the US Marshall's had taken them into witness protection and spirited them away to a new life. :) Hey Donna have you seen MSC's new 8/9 night sailings for $299 per person? :)

Well, now you are in for it, HE has your email address! Sorry, they only let me up for air occasionally but I do eventually end up reading them all. I will check that out, just hope all the short people around on Sunday don't remind him that they sail free on MSC.

You are killing me here GF! 7.5 weeks of vacation coming and I have managed to take 1 day off in a year. Office cut to short hours and I get to be the lucky one and am exempt!

If you don't find the capris, check our favorite Walgreens in SJU and have an absolute blast. I will read these to the short chubby guy and maybe he will force me to take some of that vacation.

Has anyone taken a cab from the Port of Miami Royal Carribean terminal to the Ft. Laudedale Airport? There will be two of us traveling and I didn't know if it is cheaper than the $25/person bus trip. Thanks for any info...:)

We did it back in 2006 and it was $85.00 with tip back then. We had a 9:45 flight and made it with plenty of time to spare. It was December 23rd and any other flight would have cost us $300 more so had incentive along with getting to DTW so we could Christmas shop on the way to our daughters.
