Order room service for your early morning cuppa

Got to agree about the music. We're in our early 40s and like most music but the dream seemed to cater for those much older. Bingo in medusa, not for us so move next door only to find ballroom dancing, move again and its old time music on the piano. Even the nightclub just wanted to play hits of the 80s until we requested something from the charts and then guess what, people got up to dance. This must be frowned upon as the dj quickly got out his now that's what I call music 4 and we all sat down again.

We paid 14 euros for 2 large glasses of Chianti reserva in Florence. I noticed that the local speciality of a huge t bone steak with sauce, salad and chips with glass of wine was 50 Euro for 2 in the main square but 35 just round the corner.

I must agree 're the food. The dream wins on this point. I preferred the ambience on the majesty though. Thought the entertainment was fantastic compared to the dream.

It's gorgeous. Thanks for the link.

Glad to hear he is out of itu. Like others have said, remember to take care of yourself

Am dying to know more about this French onion soup disaster. I seem to remember that restaurant being in a room off the corridor, not on it.

Hi there. Why not post this question on the island cruises forum on this site or better still, ask on the Facebook site. Hope you have a great holiday
-
It seems to me some cruisers like to look down on and disparage other people's cruise holidays. It's not confined to p and o but happens on here too.
-
Thank you. They look to have plenty of room.

Thank you everyone. Yes I am on the Facebook site as well so will ask there too. Photos would be great! And I look forward to hearing your report (as Kirk says) Joe .

Has anyone who is wheelchair bound cruised with Thomson. My sister has cerebral palsy and requires a carer. I think she would love a family holiday on board. What are the adapted cabins like. How would we get from the airport to the ship. Any information gratefully received. Thank you

Probably work Christmas day as I usually try and get new yr off instead. The joys of working in our beloved nhs. If I could pick, I would spend Xmas at home in England and then jet off somewhere warm and sunny on boxing day

There's good people and there s rude people everywhere. I did see one passenger be very abrupt with the servers at the buffet but it just made me be even more polite to them. Thankfully most people are not like that

I had a great holiday. Really enjoyed myself. It was an older clientele on board, so entertainment and music was geared towards the over 60s. Can understand that as they were in the majority. We mentioned this to one of the entertainment team and it seemed to us they did play a more wide selection of music after that. My biggest and only real upset were some of the staff. A big let down after majesty and destiny. However some were lovely, and we spent some time getting to know some of the staff in the Orion and waters edge.

Had a lovely time. The ship is great. Cabin the best I've been in. Food was beautiful. Entertainment pretty good. They are serving food in buffet but I didn't mind that. No bar menus on tables. Some Staff weren't friendly, some rude but majority were fine.

We are on it, a party of 4 adults. It's under dream. Whoever put it on didn't put a date. I searched and searched and found it posted as Dream

shame about your holiday. I would be fuming if I saw guests vomiting and spreading their germs around the ship. why don't they stay in their cabins if they feel ill instead of wandering around the corridors and sitting in the theatre.
