Thanks for this report....we have to wait until December for our cruise, getting excited already!

Just back from FOS...we could not fault the MDR. Excellent service every night and we found the food to be very good. The Windjammer is far too small....chaotic almost every time we were there, however you can go into Giovannis as an overflow, where it is so much more peaceful! The food was okay, but the fight to get near anything spoiled it! Didn't try any speciality restaurants. Loved the fruit tarts in the Cafe Promenade. But everyone's dining expectations differ.....I am sure you will enjoy whatever.

Is the Indian Vegetarian Menu available on any ship? Have sailed on a few Royal Caribbean ships (Anthem, Oasis & Rhapsody) and didn't know it existed!! I assume you just ask the waiting staff for this when they bring the menus and they are happy to accommodate?

We used Karambole Tours when our itinerary was changed from St. Lucia to Martinique (Anthem - December 2016). Communication with Christelle was excellent, had no problems booking the tour and she was waiting for us when we got off the ship. We did the Pile et Face tour and would highly recommend it. She is an excellent guide, and provides you with tasters of home made pastries and also local drink......the Banana Wine was lovely. I could not fault this tour, it was very interesting from start to finish.

I have tried to carry sausages from the Dog House to the suite sun deck. But somehow they never make it all the way there.

Also does anyone know how much a water taxi would be to the airport?

I think the journey from the Cruise Port to Airport in a taxi was about 20 mins.

We had a flight at that time. We pre-booked a transfer to the airport with A2B. It was no hassle. The driver is waiting for you when you get off the ship holding up a piece of paper with your name on. There are also plenty of taxis available just as you exit the ship.

No bar snacks.

You didn't get the Select package when you booked? If so, you'll probably be better off purchasing those on board and only pay the diff between Select and Premium/Ultimate.:cool:

Thanks for the tip Biker19.....I checked but unfortunately the Select package was not included in the discount :( Managed to get 20% discount on the Anthem Sailing on 26 November 2016 also :)
