  1. We will be on the 17 night Azamara Pursuit voyage leaving Buenos Aires on January 6, 2019. We want to purchase some liquor for in-cabin consumption during the cruise. Can anyone advise if there is a duty free liquor store at EZE, or a recommended store in Buenos Aires in the Palermo or Ricoleta

districts or near the cruise terminal?

    Thanks in advance,

    Rudy & Vicki

  2. When attempting to sign up for the Meet & Mingle for the January 6, 2019 Antarctica cruise I receive a "page not found" error as soon as I click on "Register for an Azamara Party".

Am I doing something wrong, or is this some type of system bug?

Has anyone else experienced this problem?

  3. We have never had a problem with using the laundry service on four cruises on three different Vista ships. Just stuffed everything into one bag, lights and darks, and the next day all came back beautifully clean either nicely folded or on hangers as appropriate. It's the best deal on the ship.

  4. I've traveled with a CPAP both domestically and internationally on many airlines for a couple of decades now.

So long as the US is part of your flight, the ADA comes into play. Your CPAP is a medical device, and as such is exempt from the one carry-on plus one personal bag allowance.

I put mine in a tote, along with the outlet adaptors for other countries, two extension cords, and a couple of other very small medical things I'll need on the flight. I would not put anything non-medical related in the bag.

    Never had a problem.

Great to hear! Thanks Ruth. I've flown many times with my CPAP without realizing it was exempt from being counted as one of the two allowed items.

This makes future travels a little easier.

  5. Greetings fellow CC'ers...

We are flying United back to the US out of FCO/Rome after our upcoming Eurodam 23 day TA Spain, Italy and Greece adventure. Does anyone have any experience with carrying a CPAP machine (in its own carry-bag) on United? The UAL website is somewhat vague, but it appears that the CPAP is classified as an "assistive device" and as such would be exempt as far as counting as a carry-on item. I plan to carry a standard sized piece of carry-on luggage and a small back pack which would be my one allowed personal bag, and just want to be sure I will have no issues also carrying the CPAP.

  6. We've done two Oosterdam cruises with Captain Van Der Loo and thoroughly enjoyed the Captain and his beautiful ship and personable crew. Would not hesitate to cruise aboard the Oosterdam again some time.
