Can you come up with some specific questions? Do you want to know about food? entertainment? cabin details?

Have you sailed on any of HAL's ships before? Zuiderdam is one of HAL's 4 Vistas.I like the vistas--not too big, not too small. Nice walk-around promenade deck. 2 pools, one with a roof that opens.

    Thank you,

The American Express offer is back...spend $500 for any Carnival Corporation branded cruise and get a $100 statement credit. Offer is good until March 31, 2019.

You have to go to your online account and add the offer. So far the offer is only showing up on our Blue Cash Everyday card but I will keep checking in case it is offered on either our Delta or Hilton AMEX cards.

This offer (or one similar) seems to show up a couple of times a year. We were able to save $900 on our upcoming South America cruise by making payments with different cards.

Thank you so much!  It worked for Me!

  3. I used Ramses Travel on our stop in Egypt on our cruise in Apr 09. We

had a great time. Our tour guide Marwan Sayed was very knowledgeable

and well spoken in English. The pyramids and sphynx are truely

amazing and how anyone can drive in that traffic is beyond me. I wish

we had more time for King Tutts museum; how do you see it all ( maybe

    in 2 lifetimes).

We took the 2 day tour and did Ciaro one day and Alexandria the next.

Alexandria is a beautiful city, only a mere 5,000,000 people. The

library is a working piece of art. Hard to say which place I like the

best, gardens, palace, lighthouse etc. The food....

My only regret is we didn't do the Nile dinner cruise.

I would go back thanks Ramses and Marwan.

Thank you so much for your review of Ramses tours, yours was the only review I read that did a overnight tour. I was wondering which hotel you stayed in overnight?

Again thank you so much for your review.

  4. Deck - Vista 8

    Cabin # - 8252

    Class – 1A

Starboard or Port Side - Starboard

    Bed near – Veranda

Quiet Cabin – Very quiet residential deck with residential decks above and below.

Balcony View - This cabin number is part of the deck 8 mismarked deck plan. It is actually the large angled balcony right after the hump (all cabins shift one place toward the back of the ship). It is a wonderful balcony, no sight line impacts looking outward or behind, up or down. You do need to peek/stretch/reach over the rail to see forward a bit, so make sure you say hello to your neighbor.;)

Just around the corner of the elevators. Perfect location to get up and down, don't be put off that the elevators are nearby, there is plenty of corridor and privacy from elevator traffic. This cabin has a deeper set back from the corridor affording addtional privacy as well from corridor traffic.

Balcony Size - Very large 'standard' room balcony.

Was wind a problem - No headwinds due to angle toward rear of ship offering protection.

    Hi Finely Cruising,

I have been trying to find out information on #8252 for the longest time for my 9-13-09 cruise. So thank you so very much for the information.
