  1. We were these last week. We were on a tour but, it looked further that I would want to walk. They did not have a very large selection and most were loose. There was one carver working. The set cameos were all set in silver instead of gold. I purchased a loose cameo out of the $50 tray and intend to take it to a jeweler here and have it set in a gold ring. They are beautiful.

I wouldn't walk it either - it was way too far for me!!! When were you there? I was there last week too. I was on the Costa Mediterranea. The pieces are beautiful. Mine is set in silver and has exquisite detail

  2. I just read the other threads - we got a free shuttle from the dock. They have a little "booth" in the tent at the dock and will set you up with a free driver to the shop and back. One of the ladies on our cruise had a piece made for her by this shop, which is why we decided to go there.

  3. You can find pieces in the $100-$150 range. My DH bought me a lovely one

with dolphins and palm trees there last week. They aren't very organized though. As we got ready to pay they "found out" that they didn't have paper for their Credit card machine and would only take cash  We did mange to have enough cash, but I was not happy with that. I really love the piece I got though :)

  4. We are prebooked for the one next year (W Carib). We are wondering about the size of the venues. There are already >900 people pre-booked per the travel agency. Is there a venue large enough for this? Our main concern is we paid about $200 per person more for the special entertainment (compared to a similar cabin same cruise on Orbitz) and we don't want to be in a position that you don't get a seat unless you get there 20 minutes early like the entertainment on some other cruises. We are 3 couples traveling together and are really looking forward to this cruise.

Last year there were 1200 people booked! We never had a problem attending a show. We do tend to get there early, but I didn't hear of anyone being turned away. We didn't go to every show (there are many shows throughout the day!) and I'm sure that many others don't. Some shows are at the same time we're in port, so people are on excursions, some people just get tired and don't go that night. I'm sure you'll get into every show you want to see :)

    We can't wait! :D
