Quick question for those who have been to Hamburg. We are going on Euribia in a few weeks. Where does ship dock as we have a 11 am walking tour from City Hall. Are we within a reasonable walking distance to there, near public transport ,or does MSC provide a shuttle and if so how much? Thanks
It will take you 40 mins to walk from the cruise terminal to Hamburg centre , longer if you are a slow walker. Yes MSC put on a shuttle bus, but I can't remember the price as I walked in. Husband thinks it was about 18 euros.

Enjoying reading your trip report. Do MSC put their own shuttle on in Zeebrugge to Bruges and if if so , how much is it ? Are you Enjoying the food ?

Hi All, getting on the Euribia on the 1st March, can anyone who has already done this cruise was there a formal night and if so how formal was it ?
-
Booked a guaranteed inside and 10 days later got our cabin assignment and it is a deluxe balcony on deck 12. This is on the Euribia , March 1st.

If you book a Yacht Club cabin are all your drinks etc free? If they are is that any bar on the ship or only in YC bar?

Don t miss to Go to the restaurant for lunch. They have good choices on the menu.
and it is more comforbel to have the food served instead Of the buffet.
For breakfast go to the restaurant an Be served. It is Very crowded in the buffet if you not go Very early.
Thanks, will do.

Seasoned cruisers but never been with MSC., just booked a 7 night cruise on Euribia, March 1st. Do MSC have formal nights ? Also can you take 2 bottles of wine on-board when you embark at Southampton?
-
Thanks very much for the replies, looks like we will be tendering.
-
Enjoying your trip report as my family and I are getting on Sky Princess this Saturday . Did you tender at Olden ? Also where you nearer to Loen ? We are hoping to get the glacier bus to Briskdalbreen and are hoping we dock just outside Olden village and not Loen. Your photos are fab, glad you are enjoying the food on the ship.

Do they still drop the balloons as well ?

Really enjoyed reading about your cruise. I will be doing this cruise on19th August with my adult children and grandchildren. Just a couple of questions, in Olden was it a tender? On the white and gold night is this a formal night or can you wear smart casual if it isn't ? Did many ladies wear white and gold ? Thanks and enjoy your Alaska trip.

Plf
in UK Cruisers
I have listed every port. Nightmare doing it all.

I wasn't going to get off in Lisbon anyway. Wouldn't want to test positive at last port of call and be turfed off the ship into a quarantine hotel. I have been to both Lisbon and Gibraltar a few times on cruises, so will probably just get off for a wander around in Gibraltar and a coffee.

Thanks.👍

Hi All, with us no longer being in the EU, is your passport stamped when you get off and on ship ?
-
Royal Caribbean still have it too. It's nice to have an evening turndown service, but it's not a dealbreaker. Just another cutback.

Can you tell me how many formal Nights there are on Anthem of the Seas on a 5 nt cruise. On the Royal Caribbean website it says 1 formal night, but on my cruise planner it says 2. The 2nd formal night if there is one, is on the Saturday when ship is in Belfast (23rd October) , would they have a formal night on a port day when the ship doesn't leave till 9:30 pm , so I suppose last boarding would be about 9pm ? Seems a bit strange. This is for 20th October sailing. Anyone been on a 5 nt on Anthem that could clarify. Thanks.

Iona, 18th Sept, deck 14 , boarding time 15:45! That's the latest I have ever boarded a ship. No lunch for me then. Better take a change of clothes in hand luggage in case my suitcase doesn't arrive in time before I go down to dinner.

We are on Britannia August 22nd sailing, deck 12 ( C ) , arrival time 1 pm. Daughter is on same cruise , deck 15 (A ), arrival time 12:30 .

Cunard extending its shutdown till May 15th inclusive. Sad times. Stay safe everyone.
What did you end up getting when you booked a Guarantee cabin?

I booked an inside guarantee on MSC Euribia and got a balcony cabin , midship slightly forward on deck 12. Well happy.
