Thanks for your reply.
Opening date for reservation for me is 8:00 p.m., EST on Jan 1, 2024. I assume the link won't pop up until then, am I right?

First time RSSC cruiser. Can someone help me, step by step as how to book specialty restaurants on-line under "my account".
I could not find any link. Is it won't pop up until the day the reservation is open?
Thanks in advance.

Thanks for sharing the video. My wife and I will sail with her in Sept, from Vancouver to San Diego. Looking forward to the cruise.

I know Oceania first ship to resume sailing is Marina on Aug 29. That is the ship we will sail in Oct. I hope someone from that sailing can share the experience with us.
Our government doesn't accept the result of antegen test. I could not find any information relating to this topic on Oceania website. YIKE!

Does any one know if Oceania provide service of COVID-19 testing before disembarkation. I am a Canadian and the government requires any fully vaccinated citizen returning home still need a pre entry COVID-19 test. YIKE!
We will take a Oceania cruise in Oct of this year.
Thanks in advance.

Can anyone recommend a reputable private transfer company providing transfer from airport to city hotel. We will arrive on April 24, 2020 and take a Scenic Eclipse cruise from Lisbon to Barcelona on the next day.

She moored in Rotterdam on schedule and has now set her next destination as Reykyavik ETA 14th August at 08:00. It's looking promising. The helicopter handling looked very professional but still no pics of suites.
Those on the maiden voyage should be getting excited now.
I saw an interview on Youtube done in Australia talking about not showing pictures and videos of suites and public areas on purpose, for wow factor for inaugural sailing passengers.

Our cruise is right after yours, Lisbon to Barcelona from April 25 to May 3, 2020. But we haven't received email yet, may be I should contact my TA. We always receive building progress email from our TA.

We also received the email and it really gave us the feeling that the cruise was actually happening!
We have already booked flights and hotels for our pre cruise vacation in Chile and Argentina and post cruise in Lisbon so this email is the final piece of the puzzle.

I receive the Scenic Eclipse building update video today from Scenic Cruises. It looks even more encouraging.

We are booked on the Eclipse April 5th from Buenos Aires to Lisbon. Like everyone else we have been nervous and concerned about the status of the ships construction.
The time for booking our flights is rapidly approaching and we have asked our T/A to reach out to Scenic to get an update on the likelihood of the ships completion being on schedule (August 15th). We received a response that indicates that sea trials will begin in June and they are confident that the first cruise will be on August 15th.
We will keep our fingers crossed and remain positive however I am still waiting a few more weeks before booking our flights.
Our cruise is right after yours, a 9 day cruise from Lisbon to Barcelona from April 25 to May 3, 2020.
I also have a backup travel plan for that period in case this one fall through.
Can't wait to sail on her.

Canadian website has the picture update too. But the Build Timeline still hasn't shown video update since Nov. 14, 2018.
We had booked a 9-day Lisbon to Barcelona cruise from April 25 to May 2, 2020.

I got the same email with video from Glen Moroney. It is hopeful that the Eclipse 1 will begin sailings at the end of January, 2019 as they have stated. My concern is that I am booked on the Eclipse 2, in July, 2020 and they haven't even started to build the ship. Hoping for updates soon.
Luckily I don't have this concern because I have rebooked a April, 2020 Lisbon to Barcelona cruise. My original booking was a Transatlantic cruise in Sept. I have since received all the refund from Scenic Cruises and travel insurance premium from my insurance company, every penny of it, believe or not.

I received an email from Scenic Cruises few days ago with the following video and letter from Glen Moroney.

has anyone else been effected like we have? So disappointed as our January 19, Antarctic cruise was cancelled today.
We are affect too for our Sept. 22 Transatlantic cruise. Will go to TA office on Monday to discuss the options.
See attachment from Scenic via our TA regarding cancellation.

Had to laugh a bit at your post. Any cruise line or hotel that provides slippers lets you keep them. They are likely to last up to a month:evilsmile:
I was actually emphasizing that Scenic does provide slippers and robes. :p:p

I did book the Eclipse for Nov 16, 2018. Are the paper brochures out for the public?
Yes, I have one on hand. It is called "Discovery Voyages - Europe & The Americas" for 2018/2019. It is very comprehensive and a very thick brochure.

Thank you everyone for your responses, I actually received an email this morning reminding me to book specialty restaurants tomorrow night at 8:00 p.m. EST. We are taking a 14-day Transatlantic cruise on Splendor from Miami to Barcelona on March 31, 2024.
