  1. We are doing a back to back cruise on Majestic Princess next month and was wanting to know the process in Sydney on the turn around day at the completion of the first cruise? Do we have to disembark the ship or do we stay on board, this is our first back to back and any advice or tips on what is normally done would be appreciated. We are in the same cabin for both cruises.  Thanks in advance for any advice.

  2. My wife and I will be doing two cruises back to back, the first will be a domestic cruise on the Majestic Princess for 6 nights from Sydney to Tasmania return followed by a 12 night from Sydney to New Zealand return. My question to you experienced cruises is what is the procedure that we would have to follow re finishing the first cruise and starting the second. Do we have to disembark then re board and if so is it a lengthy process or do we stay on board? We are in the same cabin for both cruises so packing our clothes and cases wont be an issue.

Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. My thanks in advance.

  3. We have taken out our cruise travel insurance with Insure & Go who cover cruising and have the option for car hire cover, where it asks if you have a discount coupon insert Groupon 20 for a 20% discount, you may also care to look at 1 Cover as they also cover cruising.

If you google cruise travel insurance it will direct you to a number of companies that cover travel insurance.

    Good luck and happy cruising.

  4. You might like to ask this question on the Princess forum. Majestic has yet to do her first season down here and the chances of finding someone here who cruised on her before she went to China AND who knows what those cabins are like would be very slim. More people will see the query on the main Princess forum.

Also someone who has been in one of those cabins on Royal or Regal may be able to provide the info required as I believe the cabin layouts on the ships are identical.

Thanks for the advice, I have also asked the question on the Princess Forum site.

  5. For those of you who have sailed on the Majestic Princess and especially travelled in a Premium Deluxe Balcony stateroom at the stern of the ship, are you able to advise if cabin A737 (Aloha Deck) has any covering over the balcony area or is it exposed to the elements? We are interested in booking this stateroom. Many thanks for any advice on this matter.

  7. My wife and I will be doing our first back to back cruise in November on the Majestic Princess, the first cruise is Sydney to Hobart return followed by Sydney to New Zealand return.

Could anyone please advise how the turnaround portion of the cruises works, do we have to disembark after the first cruise and then re board after checking in again, do we receive a second cruse card and if so where and when.

Any help and advice re back to back cruises would be most appreciative.

    My thanks in advance. Cheers.

  8. I am looking to pick the brains of ALL the people on this website especially those in W.A.

We are after reliable transport transfers from Freemantle cruise ship terminal at the conclusion of our cruise into Perth and also from Perth Hotel accommodation the next day out to Perth airport

I am also after recommendations for hotel accommodation within and around Perth itself also if you could recommend good quality restaurants around the area.

    Thanks in advance

  9. Hi, we are cruising next March on the Explorer of the Seas. Although we have cruised many times before this will be our first time on Royal Caribbean. We have booked a junior suite and am wondering does this class of cabin provide us with any extras like priority boarding etc.

Thanks in advance for any help and advice to this question.

  10. First time cruiser with Royal Caribbean although have cruised previously with Princess and Celebrity.

We have booked a Junior Suite (Stateroom No 9318) on Explorer and was hoping to obtain as much information(both positive and negative) about the ship and in particular this cabin. Any photos would be of great assistance and help.

Thanks in advance for your help.
