If anyone has been on Explorer recently, I would appreciate an update regarding the entertainment. We are boarding on Nov 24 in Lisbon for a crossing.
Thank you!

We are also on this cruise, but note it leaves on Nov. 23 not 24, wouldn’t want you to be left behind.

We were in 749 on Voyager 2 years ago, I found the vibration very annoying but my husband barely noticed it. I decided after the voyage that we would not book on Voyager again.

I see what you mean RJ2002, hoping the fridges on Explorer will be more accommodating guess I will have to wait and see. Thanks for the picture.

Anyone have a picture of the Vero water bottles? Going to be on Explorer in Nov. I like bubbly water cold but husband likes still cold. Hope fridge has room enough for water, ice bucket and beer.

Go to Whats in Port.com pick your location, it seems to have very accurate informaion.

Thank you everyone for the replies, we have chosen 943 for our Lisbon to Miami cruise on Explorer not a lot of ports but the ship is the destination.

Looking for recommendations on Explorer cabins, we will be doing the transatlantic on Nov. 23. Not sure what cabin would suit us. We have previously been on Mariner in concierge and Voyager in G suite.
Thanks

Called Air Canada, they said cannot assign seats on codeshare flight, I will try to get hold of someone at Brussels Air.
Thanks for the suggestion.

Wondered if anyone has flown this airline. We opted to do our own air for an October cruise our TA booked through Air Canada, the Brussels Airlines flight is a codeshare flight. We are booked in business class Toronto to Brussels but are not able to access seat selection until check in, has anyone run into this before?
Thanks

Thank you Michael, you went above and beyond. Happy to see my favourite Santa Margherita is still on the list in Sette Marie.
The rep I spoke with at Regent was the first one I have come across who really was not helpful, got the feeling he was not interested guess he was having a bad day.

Called Regent this afternoon and was told there is no list of complimentary wines as they change depending on where the ship is sailing. Guess we will have to wait until we are onboard.
-
Does anyone have a list of the included wines, we are cruising on Voyager in October. Not sure if each ship has different ones and also how often do they change.
Thanks:wine-glass:

We are sailing Voyager Oct 8 Venice to Rome 19 days, looked at cabin availability today and all suites are showing wait lists and 2 categories are closed. Last time I looked back in May only 2 categories were watlisted, I assume this means it will be a full ship.

Thanks everyone, we are going to use Rome Cabs price is way better than Regents bus transfer.

What a great review, will have to consider a cruise on Explorer. Loved the pictures and also the way you formatted your review. Thank you.

Has any booked their own transportation from the port to Rome airport. Good idea or will it make things complicated?
Thank you

Thanks everyone for all the information, now I can sit back and count the days until we sail.

Hi jar and joeandjudy, I was able to get all my shore excursions with the exception of Katkalon and Athens at 11 am this morning.
-
Thanks Poss, wonder if that means we get two speciality dining reservations per segment.

We have booked a Venice to Rome cruise when I received a PDF of the shore excursions there were none for Athens. I called Regent head office and was told this is classed as a btb cruise. My question is what provisions are made for passengers who are booked for both cruises, any information would be appreciated.
Thanks, Pat

Just watched Nova on building Explorer it was fascinating. Does make me wonder with all that precise engineering how some seats in the theatre (as reported by some cruisers) came to be positioned behind pillars.

Thanks Ronrick 1943, will be booking tomorrow.

TAP business class air was excellent. We flew on an A330-900 neo, lay flat seats very comfortable. Flight was late in evening but still offered full course meal. Landed in Lisbon a little behind schedule had a long walk from gate to customs and baggage pick up, Regent rep was there to meet us plus 3 young men from Four Seasons they looked after taking luggage to the van we just followed along. Everything from being met at the airport to delivery to the ship was extremely well organized.
I signed up for the meet and greet but have not received notice of when it will be as yet.
Its bright and sunny today but windy, we are having swells that keep us swaying, food and service has been excellent so far. We go to Prime 7 this evening looking forward to that.
