  1. New booking incentives from RCL:

Cruise with Confidence has been extended to allow cancellations up to 48-hours prior to sailing in exchange for a 100% Future Cruise Credit on sailings through April 2022 for bookings made on-or-before August 1, 2020

NEW! Introducing Lift & Shift for guests who simply wishing to move their existing booking to next year, protecting their original price and promotion. Simply select a qualifying sailing in the future, give us a call or contact your TA and we'll handle the rest!

NEW! Book on-or-before August 1, 2020 and take advantage of our Best Price Guarantee up to 48-hours prior to sailing, ensuring that our guests are getting the best deal!

NextCruise Book Later Offer is now extended for any February or March Book Later reservation that converts to a 2020 sailing — now eligible through May 31, 2020!

  2. Interesting, we have cancelled both of our Seaside YC cruises (one for end of June and the other one early Sept) and now are considering the Divina out of NYC for Oct. 2021 or Seashore TA from BCN to Miami (Nov. 2021).  My husband likes to smoke cigar while on cruise vacation and it was limited on the Seaside, the Divina seem to have that option if they do not take it out during dry dock...

  3. If your bid to a GS stateroom is accepted from the RoyalUp offer, you will not get the suite perks like the beverage package usually included with the Star class booking.  You do keep the perks and promotion you had with your original stateroom/cabin.  It clearly states:

The upgrade does not include any additional promotions. Current promotions on the reservation will not be altered.
You get to keep the promotions you already have based on the stateroom category originally booked. However, no additional promotions will be added to your reservation.

    Details here:
    https://www.royalcaribbean.com/faq/questions/what-happens-to-my-promotions-if-i-am-upgraded-through-royalup

Same for NCL, if someone gets upgraded to the Haven, they do not get the perks.  You basically get the priority boarding and extra space.

Nonetheless, by upgrading to a higher stateroom category, each guest in the booking may be subject to a higher gratuity amount. The Offer Amount does not include the higher gratuity. If the Offer is accepted, the difference between the original and upgraded stateroom gratuities (if applicable) will be automatically applied to all guests (the "Additional Charges").

  4. I asked Casino Royale since it was not showing at all in my cruise planner.  They said that it would only show 60 to 90 days prior to sailing (we're at 109 days), it should be available in the internet and more category.  As we are sailing on our annual complimentary Prime cruise and then back to back on the Navigator using a cruise certificate, I asked them if I buy 2k of chips, can I use them on the following cruise, answer was you need to ask the casino host and it is to their discretion.  Following this thread...

  5. Following this topic closely. Just came back from the Oasis (Sept. 2-9) and earned a free inside or 500$ discount. I was told that my prime tier is reached and valid until 3/20. I'm a Canadian citizen and was told to wait for an email while they are verifying my eligibility for the Prime annual complimentary cruise. Should hear back from them within 3-5 business days. By Friday, I will call them back if no email is received. The plan is to combine both offers and book B2B cruises sailing end of March. As for internet, we took the internet on day 3 (offered at 17,99 per day) and received both our diamond discount (19.95$) and the Prime discount 30%. If we would have take it ahead with the cruise planner offer included in the deluxe beverage (combined to Voom), it would have been cheaper at an extra 8$ per day.

What are your experiences with URComped and MSC? Maybe considering giving a try with MSC.

  6. Called CAS too for a cruise in the fall but as we are already booked on the Epic 15 days TA in April, they would not let me have another sailing comp right now, need to wait when I return from the Epic one. Also, since it is a 15 days, they said that each week will be considered as two different cruise and the average will count towards my play/level. We are booked on RCL in September, decided to use the 1K discount towards the cruise of our choice instead of their free balcony. I requested my win/loss statement (for 2017) from both CAS and Casino Royale but did not heard back yet.

  7. Ship: NCL Epic

    Sail Date: 04/07/2018

Itinerary: 15-day transatlantic (from PCN to BCN)

Made our original booking with CAS (Pearl status)

Original room: complimentary Interior stateroom upgraded to BC mid ship Balcony for 300$ pp and then an additional 55$ pp for AFT balcony (B1), ended up in a M2 mini suite mid-ship on deck 13 (M2 were at the same rate as the B1 AFT balcony).

Received our upgrade offer at 80 days prior to sailing

Bid for Haven min/max range amount:

The Haven (H5/H6 or H9): 500 pp to 2,000 pp

    H4: 750 pp to 3000 pp

    H2: 1250 pp to 3500 pp

Will confirm what our bids were if/when we will receive confirmation of an upgrade. So far our offers are still pending and havn't heard anyone on our roll call who already got theirs accepted.

We checked with CAS and their charge to upgrade to an H9 would be 2245 pp (although we would get all four offers included). If the upgrade is granted (from the advantage program) fine, otherwise will still be very happy with the M2.

  8. Question, I cumulated 5,000 pts (Pearl status) after sailing on the Pearl sailing April 3-13, 2017 in a comp inside stateroom. We are now booked on a 15-day TA on the Epic (April 7, 2018 - comp in a balcony), from what I understand is that my status in 2018 (until March 31st, 2019) will still be Pearl at 5,000 PTS while sailing on the Epic ? As ''Points earned April 1 - March 31 will determine the tier level for the subsequent year."

  9. Exact date: Checkin 9/30 for two nights out on 10/2 (day of the cruise on NCL Breakaway from Manhattan cruise terminal)

10 people = 5 rooms double occupancy (or 4 double and a quad / all adults)

Type of beds: King if possible, queen can be an option

Driving from Montreal, three cars for a park'n'cruise package with shuttle service to the Manhattan cruise terminal or park and arrange our own shuttle service.

What time are you arriving: Will make a stop at Woodbury outlets and plan to be at the hotel around 3pm.

What meals would you need? Dinner on Friday (9/30) and another nice dinner in downtown Manhattan on Saturday night (10/1)

Any NYC sightseeing requirements? Yes, would like to visit time square and central park on Saturday (10/1).

    Thank you for your advice!
