Going on Emerald in a few weeks..Have free minutes but my daughter needs more...I have got her the 'surf' package but wondering if I should go for the premium?...Assigments for Uni  Snap chat and Instagram a must ...Will Surf package cover these please?....:-)

Well I wasn't expecting all this....I just wanted to know..I wasn't in the said cabin with my daughter on my cruise at Christmas and New year...I actually had a neighbour who was murdered..I saw the ones who did it and ended up going to the Old Bailey in London as a witness..One of the hardest times in my life...I heard all the gory details what they found in the said house by the cleaners who clear crime scenes.....Not only that I am sensitive to that sort of thing and pick up......I have now seen what number the cabin number was...If I met or saw someone in that cabin obviously I would remain silent.....On QM2 there is a cabin where someone died in strange circumstances...I wouldn't want to be in there either.....

But people on this thread who say move on -forget it...No I won't-A poor lady died in terrible circumstances and has children Some people are just so primitive.......

Whether still newsworthy or not, today's thread bump was completely pointless. Really is time to lock.

May be pointless to you...But I am going on the Emerald for a Christmas and New year Cruise to Hawaii....I wouldn't like to stay in a cabin where somebody's life was taken ......:confused:

If people don't want to see this thread...Its obvious in your email notifications ....Dont read it...and then bother to post a response.... People do care and if your a regular cruiser, the fact of where this tragedy happened sends chills.......

We cruised on Emerald a few months after the sadness ....so I wanted to know.

Thank you....I am not on that deck, I am glad I am not the only person who would want to know..But I just couldn't, well you know....I remember watching it sailing into Juneau harbour before I knew on PTZtv....So awful terrible....I don't know how the trial went I am in the UK..I will try and see somewhere....:-/...

We have family members onboard the Emerald and their cabin is two away from the scene. Apparently, there was a large group of family traveling together occupying several cabins. We talked to my brother in law a bit ago and he said it was horrible. People were screaming and running up and down the halls covered with blood trying to get help. My BIL and 4 other men were getting ready to storm the cabin, but then security showed up.

So terrible.....:-/ I don't want to know the cabin number, just the deck..The thought of staying in there I cannot contemplate..Booked on this ship in Dec.....
