If you're looking to grab a shuttle you don't have to worry. As soon as you walk out of the terminal you'll be swarmed by people looking to herd you onto one of their shuttles. [emoji16]

Can't take any available, We have a specific shuttle booked, traveling with people in wheelchairs which need a van with a lift.

Gave ourselves plenty of time to get off so we'll probably be off before they call us with the directions on where to meet. Would like to know where that might be ahead of time.

When we leave the terminal building, which direction should we turn in order to be closer to where Shuttles to the airport normally pick people up?

Looked on google map street view an didn't see any signs for location of shuttle vs taxi or personal car pickup areas.

If you had to pick between American and Delta flying into and out of Miami which would you pick and why.

Had similar problem an it turned out to be an extra space after the last number cause I hit the space bar by accident.

Would it be crazy to get a shuttle between 9:05-9:20am in order for a 12:30 flight out of Miami airport? Or should we try for an earlier shuttle?

Do the specialty (extra $$) dining venues change their menu each evening and have 1-2 things that are always available like mdr OR is it a completely different menu each night?

I don't get those who tell people on here to say hello to a certain crew/staff member weeks later. These crew/staff are dealing with hundreds of new people per sailing. You really had to have made a big impression to be remembered 2-3+ weeks later just by name alone.

Only had that happen after my 1st cruise. Took 1/2 a sea sickness pill an it went away within an hour never came back. After many cruises doesn't happen anymore.

Not a fan of boarding early just to sit an wait with luggage. We usually fly to the port city the day of so it's a non issue since boarding usually started at 11-12ish an the plane lands around that time.

Always use Jiffy Jeff $15pp an multiple times it's been just us in the van. When it wasn't just us it was one other couple, not nearly a crowded van.

How many people in line at 6:45? Might help that it's a week day regarding getting off the ship, more possibly staying in FL for an extended post cruise stay thanks to almost being the weekend. - why rush off.

I would question this 2:30 arrival for a 3:30 departure - and certainly wouldn't follow this time - as every cruise we've been on you had to be on board at least 90 minutes prior to departure for manifest submissions reasons. Arrive after that and you will be denied boarding unless it is due to a cruise booked transportation delay, at which point they will delay departure to accommodate.

"Please note Xpress Pass guests (checked-in online) whose cruise departs from ports in the United States are required to be at the pier and checked-in no later than 60 minutes prior to the published sailing time or you may not be permitted to board. For a cruise that departs from other ports not in the United States, please review your travel documents carefully for your boarding time."

Personally found many of the changes made on the Celebrity page itself by looking at the itinerary map. We sail in Jan and the map shows St. Thomas but the itinerary says St. Maarten - just got email the other day confirming St. Thomas as the new port stop.

Sailing on Equinox out of Miami

Wondering as all the drink menus I've seen are alcohol/beer/cocktails - what is the cost of regular bottled water, premium bottled water and soda WITHOUT any sort of package.

So we've booked an afternoon 12:50 flight/ Saturday in January. If we don't do the self debarkation, what time do you think we should try an be off by to grab a taxi?

We've made crazy earlier flights before but never sailed Celebrity an it's been awhile since out of Miami as well.

Curious as our Equinox sailing Jan 20th supposedly has TWO groups (guessing not huge as we could book as not being a part of them) "Cruise of Irish Stars" and a Fleetwood Mac tribute band. Tribute band group sites are showing embarkation at Port Everglades but the ship is actually going from Miami. Recently looked up both groups and Tribute band sites are now blank, so I'm wondering did it get cancelled or is it sold out. Called Celebrity and all the rep said is "yes we have groups booked" won't confirm what they are. Heck for all I know something else is booked too. Called the TA for the Irish group an they confirmed it's under half the ship but wouldn't give an exact number.

wow on board by 10:45. What time did boarding start? Must have gotten everyone from the prior sailing off quick - not many hanging around until the last possible minute like we tend to have to wait for before boarding.

I know we haven't even boarded yet an shouldn't be questioning about getting off but I was wondering as we're new to Celebrity:

Do they actually enforce the group times for debarkation? Once the self debarkation people are done carrying their own stuff off can anyone walk off and luggage will be ready an waiting? Is it airport carousel style or one big room with luggage in certain places?

We've done sailings on other lines when they wanted us to wait in the theater. Due to elevator crowding and with our sons mobility issues we decided to wait in the guest reception area near the gangway. After about 10min of watching people leave a crew member came over an said if we wanted to leave we could, even though our assigned group wasn't to be called for another hour. We checked in at the airline desk at the time we were supposed to be getting called to leave if we had stayed in the theater for the assigned time.

Curious if using cash vs plastic makes a difference in getting a paper copy (without asking for it).
