Hi! We are leaving on our first cruise with the kiddos, ages 6 and 4, soon and are having trouble deciding on what to do in port. We will be in both ports, Nassau and Freeport, 7-3, I believe. Ideally, we want to walk to a beach, and maybe do some shopping at a straw market. We really don't want to spend a lot of money on excursions, and just want a nice safe place to play on the beach/in the water, with a bathroom nearby. I know there are lots of options to be driven to, but without carseats/booster seats, I'm not willing to try it. Right now, I'm leaning towards walking to Junkanoo Beach or taking a ferry taxi to Cabbage Beach in Nassau. I really don't have any ideas for Freeport, so am thinking we may just stay on the ship..any thoughts/suggestions on any of this would be appreciated!
