Please I would like any tips on the Indian and Arabian Sea cruise from Abu Dhabi, on the constellation on the 6 December, never been to this part of the world before .

I totally agree, I don't think we will be doing P&O again, it's a shame as with some care and attention to detail the food could be so different and better presented, the fish and chips in the MD had the wateriest tartar sauce I have ever seen, the Creme Anglais must have been made with water, surely we as paying Customer's deserve better.

we did the TA from Barbados, over all the cruise was ok, the food in the MD was OK , the buffet in the Venezia, was unappetising, not many signs on the dishes, the salad selection was really dissapointing and a poor selection, the tomatoes were piled so deep in the container that the slices underneath were so squashed that the juice was up to the top layer (ugh) also not much choice in salad dressings, balsamic vinegar , thousand island and one other that looked like weak black coffee with white blobs on the top. It was to small an area to get round without bumping into people, the burgers on lido deck were ready done and wrapped up and gristly and dry. The entertainment was mediocre apart from the New Zealand singer and the comedians. The staff were very friendly and our cabin on B deck was faultless.

We are going on the same cruise but on Saturday, I have read that they charge for headphones (£4) and the basic film package is free, but if you want to up grade to a premium film package, it's(£5) we will take our own, but I read a critic on TC site , that they are old Netflix films . We have never had to do this on long haul before , penny pinching, but it won't stop me from enjoying the flight. Looking forward, to Saturday.

Thanks, that's encouraging.

Thanks, just hope to get some sun once we leave the carribean.
-
Thanks for that, hope you have a good cruise, we have never done P&O before , or aTA, or used this before, so it's all new to us.

Thanks for that,we are in a port side balcony. So we will just have to grin and bear it, we have never been seasick and have had some mildly rocking nights, but I will take some seasick pills just in case.

Sorry to jeanlyon, we depart Barbados on the 18th March.

:pMany thanks for all the replays. This is the first time I have used cruise critic,I must admit I am slightly nervous about doing the crossing, so hopefully we should have some sunshine days on deck ,but we wanted to try waking up in Southampton rather than the long haul flight.:)

Please any help on a transatlantic crossing from St Martin to the Azures then Southampton, on what to pack and the weather. It will be our first P&O cruise . Many thanks.

Thank you, for your replies, very helpful, especially as we have never been on a cruise at that time in the med or been on an NCL ship before we usually like celebrity,so we are looking forward to the cruise. To Cath and Glynn, have a great time and happy Christmas.
