Help. Has anyone booked a tour through shoretrips dot com?
what was your experience? were the tours good?
Trying to find some info on the company because they offer a tour in St. Lucia that I am interested in (but can't search prior posts).
Thanks so much

My daughter won one last cruise by calling into the morning show and talking to the Cruise director (original prize was a bottle of champagne but since she was under age the delivery person gave her a SOS and my husband and I got the champagne). Only ship we won that cruise since we didn't get to do a lot of trivias. Good luck and have a great time.

HELP. please. I am traveling with my husband, twin daughters and my mom. My husband and daughters are doing a more adventurous excursion and am trying to find the best land tour for my mom and myself.
Not looking for only beach tour but any not to miss landmarks, food places to try or tours that are a fabulous representation of Barbados would be greatly appreciated. My mom does have more limited mobility due to past knee replacement surgery. Could do an hour at a beach if that is the best way to absorb culture, etc.
Thanks so much for your input.

Well before it is time to pack, I start a list of things that we use everyday (like toothpaste, toothbrush, contact stuff) and also things that we might forget like charges, cords, cameras. I add to it the clothes we need (depending on where we are traveling - shorts vs pants, etc). Create your own lists based on your own needs and preferences. I save mine in word so I can update/change as needed and also have it with me when we pack up at the end of the trip to make sure I am not leaving anything behind.
Have a wonderful trip.

drawstring bag or other bag to haul towels, sunscreen, etc around in port and not have to take a giant backpack. (we put in hats, or umbrellas, granola bars, souvenirs we pick up at the port as well.) Besides the kids can carry them and mom doesn't get stuck being the pack mule in all the ports.:p

When we cruised in '12 we paid for the bottomless bubbles and never had to pay anything. We always made sure that we got our sodas before we went into the dining room for dinner and did not get sodas from the drink waiters in the MDR.

Sean,
I know that I have read several places on the boards that the safe inside the rooms still require a credit card or similar card with a magnetic strip. DO the rooms also require the room key to be in a holder so the lights will turn on (last cruise was on a newer ship and we had to use room key or empty gift card in order to turn on the lights inside the cabin).
Thanks

double check about dinner the first night, sometimes it is open seating the first night. I had my girls go last cruise and pick up the itinerary for the club and meet the directors of the clubs as well. Have a great cruise.

if you go to the carnival website and go to FAQ click on handicap accessibility should be able to find a lay out of the ship you are looking for and can look above and below your room to see what is there. Good luck and glad you enjoyed your first cruise. (the map should also let you know about connecting rooms, etc)

We are on the summit and will be in st lucia on February 11, hope it works out!
We are on the Valor and wont be in St. Lucia until the end of March. Hope you find others to go. We are looking at his tour for March.

Just wondering when you are cruising and on what ship to see if we are interested in joining you as well.

We are cruising on the Valor at the end of March. I have found 3 different private tours that offer a whale/dolphin watching excursion. Would like information from anyone who has used any of them (Mystic Man, Captain Mike, or Exodus).
trying to get an idea about cost, length of tour and ease in getting in and out of boat for excursion. Will be traveling with my mom and mother in law. Any other info would be great. (still trying to gather info before I make decision and websites that I have found don't have costs listed so it is hard to compare)
Thanks in advance

Hi, we are cruising out of San Juan. We will have a rental car for when we are there before the cruise. We are hoping there is parking for unloading at the cruise port (in order to get us all unloaded from the car and onto the ship) then my husband can return the car to the airport. Has anyone done that or know if it is possible. (parking very close to ship as we are traveling with our parents as well as our teens.)
Thanks in advance.

Hi, I was wondering if the ship offered a behind the fun tour and how much it was or when it was offered. Any info would be great. Thanks for the review.

Thank you both for the quick replies. Gives us more info to process. But at least we know the choices.

Hi everyone, we are cruising toward the end of March out of San Juan and just trying to figure out the earliest we can actually board the ship at the beginning and the latest we can debark at the end of the cruise. Trying to coordinate different arrival times for members of our group.
Also, has anyone rented a car from the airport for after the cruise (flying home a day after we arrive in port but want a car to get around vs taking taxis.
Thanks so much for any and all help.

Alan, love the review. Can't wait til we get to have similar experiences. One question if you have the information. Do you remember or know how much a single can of soda was on the ship?
Thanks
