Hi Texasstar,
Nico our guide was terrific. We had a young honeymoon couple on the trip so he put them behind him and did several extra loops and curves so the slower ones like hubby and I could keep up.
We have only ever been on a jet ski once before so we were real newbies. We never felt we had to go any faster than we wanted to and Nico kept checking that we were in sight. We are in our late 50's and we had a blast.

Hi Milepig,
why didn't you just ask for a bigger table?. If they showed you to a table for two you could just remind them that you would prefer to share. They are so obliging they will do anything just about to make sure the pax are happy. You just need to ask.

Hi all,
we were on this very same trip, Hi Rox welcome home. Lovely to have met you and Tom.
To answer a fellow cruisers questions about various excursions, we did the Bora Bora jet ski excursion offered by the ship and it was outstanding. It is three hours with most of that time on the jet ski. We did the whole circumference of the main Island and saw all the high end resorts on the outer Motus. Had a couple of swims in the lagoon, crystal clear water and the purest silica sand you will ever experience and also attended a coconut demo. Our leader Nico was so friendly and our group (only five of us) had a fabulous time. You think you have seen Bora Bora from ship etc but the outer motus are in a world of their own pristine.

Hi Rox our voyage is about to begin ha ha. Have a safe and happy journey.
See you both soon.

Hi Keith we are also on 11th March windspirit tahiti.
Will provide a review when we get back for you including the much loved menus, drinks list etc. Agree that there isn't much posted about our little yacht but that is about to change.

Hello again fellow cruiser. Just looked up weather for next 14 days and it is fine, in fact forecast is for clear skies on our boarding day. Just because the forecast looks like rain it isn't as bad as it looks, if you check out detailed weather it gives you a percentage chance of rain so even tho the chart may look like it is expected to rain every day for a week it is based on percentage i.e rain symbol shown but maybe only a 5% chance of rain. We are used to those kind of percentage charts in Australia. Try not to stress even if it rains the swimming, snorkelling, water fun will still be wet anyway.

Hello all,
can anyone advise about room service breakfast on Wind spirit.
Is it possible to order/pre order hot breakfast? for example eggs benedict or such or is it just continental breakfast?.
Many thanks for any info.

Thanks LVwindstar,
glad to hear they are still doing the lunch.
Any chance you could give us all a bit of a review of your recent Tahiti cruise on Wind Spirit?

Anyone recently completed this voyage, did they still do the beach motu lunch at Tahaa?. Someone posted they did not do this anymore just the Motu event second night at Bora Bora.
-
Thanks Diane thankful I am not the only one to have trouble.:)
Is it actually necessary to fill them in at all, ahead of time, or can we just wait till we board ??
-
Did anyone have any problems filling out the forms online through Windstar website.
I have been trying without success to enter my passport details but it keeps telling me I have entered an invalid date and to enter in correct format which I have I think i.e yyyy-mm-dd. I have tried every which way but nothing works.
Very frustrating. Any ideas?.
Is it a requirement to fill in these forms ahead of the cruise or can we just do it on arrival to ship?.

You can swim off platform directly into water at the ports where the ship anchors.
You can also swim off the motu (small island) that is used for the cultural show and beach dinner while in Bora Bora. This event is included in your cruise fare.

Second day.

Many thanks I feel much happier about the Air Con situation now.

How did you find the air con in the public rooms and cabins was it adequate in such a hot and humid environment?.

Hello all. We are going to Tahiti March next year for 7 day cruise on Wind Spirit.
Anyone else who has done this cruise in the past, how did you find the temperature. I know it is going to be very hot and humid in Tahiti that time of the year but what is the ships Air con like. Did you find the public rooms and cabin temperatures cool enough. Really looking forward to this cruise but worried my hubby is going to melt ha ha. Any info would greatly be appreciated. Thank you so much in advance.

Many thanks from me too here in Australia. I enjoy your cruise with you every morning while having breakfast. I will be on Radiance December when it is down under with us so really enjoying having a good look at her thanks to you. I agree with the don't take a picture of balcony next door I also think it is really creepy and would be annoyed if I saw someone doing it to me and yes it's probably identical to the one we saw earlier in the post.

Sorry if there is another thred for info about pier 91 Seattle, but I don't know my way around enough to find it. I was just wondering if there were any Priority lines at this port for suite passengers. We will be on a Holland America ship to Alaska. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
