TTT - Still looking. One company said they weren't fishing that time of year and wouldn't provide a reference.

In May 2017, my Father, nephew, and I are taking a Royal Caribbean cruise of the Norwegian Fjords (Stavanger, Bergen, Alesund, and Geiranger). I'm curious if anyone has any information on possible fishing charters in any of these ports.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

One thing I should mention. Be careful where you swim. As long as you stay inside the buoy lines and markers you do not need to worry about sea urchins. If you wade into the water outside that area (where the snorkelling is the best) then you risk stepping on one. While it wont kill you it is painful. Someone from the ship stepped on one and I couldn't resist looking. It looked like he had about 10 or 15 sharp black needles in his foot. So if you are going to snorkel, walk into the swimming area first and float to the snorkleing area. You'll see the sea urchins on my videos below.

After reading this thread, just reserved a Nellies beach cabana for our trip on the Indy next year. No problem.
Can help with Ålesund & Norwegian Fjords:-)

Know of any fishing guides or charters in Alesund? There are 3 or us hoping to experience a little fishing up there while in Port.
