With a Passport not necessary but I would for in ports etc...

All our cruises in the past, I did myself but given the nature currently, I let my PVP handle our next one because he is great & has been extremely patient with me the last year while I decided on what and when.

What I do with SW is book the flights and then keep checking back for better prices and times. SW allows you to modify your flights, and refunds points and money to your account if you find something at a lower fare.
We don't travel enough even normally for that to be worthwhile

I just booked my flights. Paid more than I wanted, but I was using points so that takes away some of the pain. "Good" flight times coming back were already gone, so I opted for a 4:55 pm.
I was going to say they showed up & were horrible prices, looks like I will be impatiently waiting until about 6-12 weeks before my trip -
It will be about 9 years since our last cruise & our one booked in March, we ARE gamblers (a lot) but only got me to book with this last offer which put us on Horizon in OV for 3ppl around $900, I couldn't say no to it & neither could my husband even though he wanted to lol

Before continuing with our review, I want to pause and reflect on today, the 20th anniversary of 9/11. I grew up and worked in a town called Perth Amboy, New Jersey which is a little less than 30 miles south of New York City. As a teenager, I watched those towers being built and rising into the sky. I have been in them. From my office window where I worked, on a clear day you could see them. I'll never forget that day as long as long as I live. I witnessed it live from a distance. There were people from my home town, and from where Patti and I now live, that didn't come home that night.
New York City is our home port. We have sailed from there over two dozen times. Here are some photos taken from some of our early cruises.....
These last three were taken on our Zenith cruise to Bermuda, less than two months before the attack....
We will never forget!!!
This day I was still active duty Army stationed in TX, we watched it transpire from our home on post, then we quickly packed our duffle bags, uniforms, boots, etc thinking we were about to get phone calls deploying but no it took them 6+ months to activate us & by that time I was out processing medically. My husband and I can still remember every moment & when they locked our bass down we passed our 2yo son through the fence to my cousin for my mom to pick him up & keep him until we knew what was going to happen

As previously mentioned when the politics were removed, the discussion was more specific and informative.

We took a chance today and booked for Mar 6, 2021 on the Panorama, easy drive to Long Beach so I felt the risk is minimal

I would say it would be depend on the time of day and day of the week. If it is a weekend, then that should be pretty accurate. During the week our traffic runs 5am - 9am and 3pm - 7pm lol Luckily, I don't have to fly in for Long Beach as it is down the street :) Look at flights coming into Long Beach as well .

January is part of cold/rain season here in cali... not sure how warm ensenada will be. We went in Jan 2009 and I remember being in jeans and long sleeve shirt but nothing unbearable.

wow do they have anything thats decent in a little lower price range?
I was just getting some as a gift, thats a bit stiff.
Id hoped to spent like $100 and get 2 or 3 bottles, i guess scotch is expensive..
If anyone knows any other onboard scoth prices, please help me out here. tia. yikes.
I don’t know about onboard but I will say GOOD scotch is expensive period :) I buy my husband bottles from total wine for about $100-$150 a piece but they last him a long while because it is a sipping drink that he likes to enjoy.

If she is stubborn like me she will be fine :) July 2014, I had a ruptured brain aneurysm.. Aug 2014 was boarding a plane to go Disneyland.... the body is a miraculous thing and can heal quickly .... hugs to your wife!

Usually with my 9yo we will just pop by the camp and ask her if she wants to stay or wants to go do something else... 99% of the time she wants to stay lol

I follow a regimen when I am not on vacation... when on vacation, I don't at all because it is just that.. a break. I view it that one week or two in a year didn't make me gain so there are times where I just have fun :)
