  1. There are multiple muster stations on the ship.... they will announce where guests with special needs will need to go. I've seen guests with wheelchairs both in the muster station up on the Lido deck near the main stage and in the lounge mid-ship where they sing karaoke. When I previously cruised with my daughter who was in a wheelchair, they did allow our family to stay together; however, she was a minor at the time. There will be plenty of staff directing you where to go! Have a great cruise!

P.S. I will be on the Inspiration 2 times in the next 3 weeks and will check it out for you :):)

  2. Has anyone ever used a small wagon to board ship? It's not my first choice; however, I need to get my scuba gear onto the ship, along with small other carry-on items and it will be difficult without assistance. I have a small collapsing wagon that would easily slide under the bed when not in use. I also have a umbrella type stroller that I could easily strap my scuba gear to and put the soda underneath. TIA

  3. Happy 50th Birthday! As another poster stated, the Serenity Area on this ship tends to be fairly busy. If you get there early, try and get a chair close to one of the outer sides, and you won't have a bunch of people walking around or near you. I have always enjoyed quiet time on Deck 9 along the "Imagination Promenade". It runs from the Casino (mid-ship) all the way back to the Alchemy Bar... the most quiet I've found is outside of the $10 gift shop right before the Alchemy Bar. The seats are very comfy and you get nice views of the ocean. Enjoy :)

  4. It's awesome to have so many new posters. My back has finally healed and I am once again walking upright and increasing my steps. I was able to walk on the treadmill yesterday, 1st time in 3 weeks.

Up to 40.2 pounds lost since 1/12/18. Not the speediest, but not the slowest. Still loving the Freestyle. We love making pizzas from the 2 ingredient dough with turkey pepperoni and trader joes low fat mozzarella cheese. Tastes absolutely decadent for only 5-6 points (depending on cheese).

I also make a mini dessert we call Peanut Butter Clouds at 1-2 points which are heavenly.

Thanks for the muffin recipe. I would love to have more recipes that you have tried and enjoyed.

Wow! That is awesome 40.2 lbs since January is amazing! Keep up the great work!

  5. Greetings Fellow WW Cruisers~ New to this thread, but not new to cruising! In fact, all of my cruising has contributed to my current weight! Joined WW back in April after spending 12 days at sea during January - March! I love the new WW program and so far have lost 10 lbs... I ultimately would like to lose another 30 lbs by my next cruise 9/3/18 and yet another 20ish by the 10/31, which averages about 10 lbs per month :) My first goal is to get under 200 lbs!

  6. The first time we purchased Cheers, it was on the second day. After reviewing what we had purchased on day 1 we decided it would be a good deal for us. If I recall correctly we were charged for the full 7 days and they simply rolled day 1 drinks into the program.

That was us too! Except, we paid for Days 2 through 8 for the Cheers and Day 1 we paid for the actual charges per drink, plus the soda card we bought on Day 1. Even after buying Cheers on Day 2, they didn't credit us back for the soda card. Lesson learned :D

  7. I learned something else recently that I found interesting.... did a wine tour in Ensenada and bought 8 bottles of wine. When my friend and I arrived back on the ship, they allowed us to carry 1 bottle per person back to the cabin and check the other 6 at the alcohol table. On a port intensive itinerary, you could enjoy a popular wine from that port each night with dinner :)

  8. Thanks.... I found my 5, 7 and 8 night Fun Times and all of them say Cheers is available first 2 days of cruise. Surprised they offer it on Day 2 on a 3 night.. but they do. Anyhow, now that I know, we will plan accordingly. We are scuba diving the first 2 port days of our upcoming 6 night cruise..... so the Cheers would be a waste until after dives on Day 3 :)

  9. Glad you found it in your spam mail!! I was very surprised to read your post... as they are awesome with getting back to people! Has anyone been diving in G.T. since hurricanes? We have a trip booked next month and wondered if the wall or tunnels have changed and how viz is.... we dove Jan 2017 ~ and it was out of this world amazing!

  10. Have you cruised a 6 night itinerary? Just want to be clear if No, means you don't know or No means it's not available.... Just want to be sure :) Since I am 100% sure it's offered on Day 2 of a 3 night cruise, I thought maybe it would be available because on a 3 night. I am trying to find my 5, 7 and 8 night Fun Times... just never done a 6 night :)

Day 1 - Embarkation Day (Cheers Available)

    Day 2- Port (Cheers Available)

    Day 3- Port (Cheers ??????)

    Day 4- Port

    Day 5-Port

    Day 6- Sea Day

    Day 7 - Debarkation

  11. I know this is an old thread.. but wondering if anyone happens to know if the sofa sleeper in the wheelchair accessible ocean suites are a single or double bed? I am looking at 7270 on the breeze and although it holds 3 people, I am still curious if the sofa sleeper is the standard Carnival twin size bed, or if it's larger. TIA

  12. They choose to do so for customer service not for any suggested threat. They do not need to refund fare due to death. Read your contract.

Seriously??? I am well aware of what the contract says... just giving this person a suggestion based on my experience. Despite what the contract says, I have always found Carnival to be very fair when it comes to situations like this!

  13. Sorry about your brother in law.... I recently had a similiar situation and here's what we did ~ Guest arrived at port and advised Carnival at check-in that other passenger was deceased and would be a no-show. Was advised that port fees and taxes and prepaid gratuities would be immediately refunded to original form of payment. Upon return from cruise, sent Carnival an email with copy of death certificate to reviews@carnival.com and requested either a refund or FCC for the surviving passenger. Carnival issue the FCC without any further question.
