  1. Bassmaster firstly I want to say thanks for all this information.. I am really enjoying reading your posts. Is the amazing glacier you referred to the Amalia glacier? I have looked at our itinerary and I see that this is listed. I am so excited to hear that we do get close to the Glacier as this is something I have really been hoping to see. I am also keen to hear about any port hi-lights, perhaps a food you tried or a drink? A local thing I might not have read about? What is the ship like in the evenings? Like the earlier poster I need to trim my packing down ... but I do like to dress up in the evenings. Have you noticed if there are any dance lessons going on on sea days? Most of all I hope you continue to enjoy this fantastic adventure.. just a little more than a month and I will be sailing from BA doing this very trip! Thank you

  2. We did this cruise April 16. Had a great time ... but ... it wasn't like any other cruise I'd been on. It really is a floating hotel to see Hawaiian islands. I enjoyed it. But the cruise element was poor compared to other cruises. However we saw tons and it was a fantastic way to see the islands .. I would do it again. we booked private tours in all ports .. this really added to it all. I felt it was owrth the money, just lower your cruising expectations and plan your time to see as much as possible . Good luck

  3. I sailed Rotterdam on the TA in March this year with my partner and another lesbian couple. We had a fantastic time. Yes this ship is old and there were a few paint chips .. but it was spotlessly clean, staff were fantastic and it was v easy to get around given its quite small size. I wouldn't hesitate to cruise again on this ship
