Hi all ,we are visiting our daughter in Sydney January 2015 .Was thinking that maybe a 7night cruise on pacific jewel would be a nice way to spend quality time with her and her husband as we haven't seen them for 2 years but have just read it is typhoon season were we would be headed .Has anyone had any bad experiences at this time of year.Thanks

We were also on this cruise apparently the fire was started by someone using an extension socket Our cabin was on the same deck and you could smell the smoke.This was our very first cruise had a lovely time on Azura despite the incidents.We also found the entertainment very disapointing,everything else was great.We only went on one P&o trip and that was Land and Sea in StLucia it was very disappointing so much easier to do your own

Hi if you have your e tickets just google the flight number and it will tell you .WE go this Friday same time as you on Dreamliner so it probably will be .

Hi just got our cabin allocation b deck mid ship any comments welcome ,it is a balcony cabin GA 626looks okay to us but we have never cruised before .Am now mega excited

Hi we have booked a getaway guarantee balcony but still don't have our cabin number is this usual .Starting to feel a bit impatient really want to know we're we are on ship.Booked in November so not really a last minute bargain unfortunately.

I am beginning to regret booking P & O! Hope here are not too many of the "blue rinse brigade" on board who think they are something that they are not! Sorry but everyone has a right to cruise and be as comfortable as they want to be. Spanner did you mean Formal night when you referred to the gentleman in the casino? My husband has a Tux but will not be taking it with him! I have several evening dresses and won't be taking them either. We cruise because we love the Caribbean!

We are on Azura in five weeks time ,we booked a getaway fare with a balcony when is it likely to be allocated .Thanks

Thanks for sharing Lodge 173 we are thinking about using the local transport,but am a bit scared if we were late and missed the ship. So we may just book excursions this time and to be on the safe side .Any advice gratefully received.

You're right Hula hips that's exactly what I am doing voicing my opinion as we also have freedom of speech in U K,and in my humble opinion I think there are too many negative things bandied about on this site IKnow I don't have to read it but to.be honest it makes me smile. To be honest some people in this world love to moan about anything and everything ,personally I just go away to chill out and have fun and I hope to continue to do that even when I get old

Thanks for your replies my husband and I are really excited about this cruise it's for our silver wedding anniversary so want it to be special .We enjoy wherever we go and it's our first time in the Carribean.

Just want to say we are going on our very first cruise in Jan on Azura.Joined this site for some info and some advice,can't believe how many negative comments are posted on here about P&o.so have decided to stop reading as its starting to annoy. If you an afford a Caribean cruise then in my opinion you've got nothing to moan about .Be grateful for what you've got lots of people would give anything for these kind of holidays,you moaners should be ashamed of yourselves.
